My hobbies have previously been International Off- Road Racing but now I enjoy collecting and tasting fine wines and spending great times with my family.

I recently moved to Hillsboro and am currently driving my 5th Subaru and have been a loyal Subaru customer for over 40 years. In all that time I have been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy at dea 5th Subaru and have been a loyal Subaru customer for over 40 years. In all that time I have been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy at dealerships where I was living. However, a new experience happened at Royal Moore. The service Manager, Bill Rush, was incredibly condescending and sexist. The air-conditioning on my 2017 Subaru Forester went out when the outside temp was 105 degrees. I went to Royal Moore and the service person was very helpful and got me an appointment the next morning. At my appointment time Justin Asman was there to help me with any questions or concerns and arrange a loaner car while mine was being repaired. Jason walked me thru the entire process and communicated via text and phone while my car was being serviced. The compressor on the a/c unit was bad and had to be replaced. When I picked the car up and drove for a bit the a/c again did not work properly. I returned to dealership and this time I was greeted by Bill who said it was a relay switch and they would replace it. They did and off I went, however it did not seem to be working properly so I went back and that is when Bill said that it was fine, and then proceeded to tell me " if you were my mother I would tell you the same thing'"- ouch. His attitude was dismissive and condescending, insinuating that I did not understand air conditioning and compressors. It was not a pleasant experience and I am not sure that Royal Moore will get my Subaru business again. There is another dealer not too far away. Perhaps some customer service training for Bill would be in line. On the other hand, Justin Asman was great to work with. More

So was not happy about my previous crosstrek needing two clutch replacements under 34k miles You took care of the first for free Thank you that was at 9k miles Both my wife and I are seasoned drivers o clutch replacements under 34k miles You took care of the first for free Thank you that was at 9k miles Both my wife and I are seasoned drivers of manual shift so I believe that car was defective and we no longer trust it Once I got to Adam we were able to do a nice deal to trade it out for the newer automatic I do have to say most of the people I talked to we’re helpful to their capacity But a couple were really aggressive about the issue not being covered and really failed to address the low mileage and the fact it happened twice I’ve been in customer support for 30yrs I would never entertain someone like that working with or for me However everyone else was top notch More

He is a wealth of kno A completely comfortable car buying experience! Greg (Shafton) is appropriately enthusiastic about Subaru & selling them. He is a wealth of knowledge, understands our lifestyle & gave a personal shopping experience. My favorite part of working with Greg was when he “challenged” me to challenge him during some Q&A’s when he said, “Come on Crystal. Put me to the test.” I feel like I made a new (and kinda snarky) friend. It was then that I knew he loved Subaru and I wanted to buy from him. We visited Royal Moore twice. The first time was to get a general idea and feel. Our 2nd time was to close a deal. In between was some homework on my part. That made going in the 2nd time a breeze and they happen to have the exact trim & add-ons we wanted! The purchase experience was flexible and not high pressure. We were pre-approved for a loan which one of Royal Moore’s lenders was able to match. We also negotiated the price & package little. Long story short, we are happy to have agreed on price and terms of the car and future services. Follow up is important too. I’ve got an appointment to help me with questions I might have in maximizing the personalization and potential of what this car has to offer. I’ll be in for maintenance & for whatever else might happen. They’re team players too. Everyone was kind & helpful including Jim helped us out until Greg was available, Bill helped us with finance, Emmylea is who I will meet with, a few cheered for us when we tossed a few bags for Corn Hole, and Becky got me a coffee stir stick when I didn’t see them. I brought in my Subaru I purchased from Royal Moore in 2014 for a tire fix. They checked all the tires and made sure there were no issues. Additionally, they put my locking lug nuts on, which a different 2014 for a tire fix. They checked all the tires and made sure there were no issues. Additionally, they put my locking lug nuts on, which a different Subaru service department failed to do even though they said they did. I still receive birthday emails from Royal Moore! I really appreciate their eye for detail, their long-term customer connections and their quality assurance checks. More

The service department is excellent. The "lounge" is comfortable. The staff communicated to me. I had an issue with a wheel lock key that was missing from my vehicle which we needed while on vacation to have a flat tire repaired, The service department gave me a new one with lug nuts at no charge and apologized for it not being in the car. (We bought the car used 10 months ago and apparently, it was not in the spare tire compartment like it should have been. I was treated like a valued customer. More
