I just purchased my 5th or 6th car from Gates. They have always been wonderful. In January I purchased a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek addition. My seatbelt warning light went on in Septem They have always been wonderful. In January I purchased a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek addition. My seatbelt warning light went on in September. I was the only one in the car. I called the dealership and spoke with Mr Rideout and he was extremely rude. I explained what was going on with the car and he said that the seatbelt light would go on even if there was a cell phone sitting on the seat, which seems dangerous in itself. He told me to go home and click all the seatbelts and shut the car off and turn it back on, to reset the error. and it would be fine He was uninterested in my concerns. I went home and clicked all the seatbelts and the light didn’t go off, so I called back told him I did what he asked and that I needed to make an appointment since the light was still on and asked if They had a rental I could borrow. In my Spam folder were a few messages from Nissan connect letting me know there was a problem with the seatbelt which could affect the airbags and was dangerous to drive. He was annoyed and said no there wasn’t a car I could use then he realized it was a brand new car that I have had for eight months so he said since it was still under warranty that I could use the rental and that I will need to make sure I have my license my insurance card and a credit card for anything that might be wrong with my car because it probably was a mouse that chewed a wire which I knew that did not happen. it was almost like he was aggravated that I bothered him with such nonsense. I took his mansplaining no problem, but I don’t understand why there was such an attitude when it was a safety issue and not something I was complaining about. I would not like to deal with him ever again maybe he was having a bad day or maybe he’s just that way as a person. Customer service is part of your job maybe some retraining would be helpful so that he can better serve the dealerships customers. Maybe he should stay behind the scenes and let the team in the front do what they do best awesome customer service. More

The service manager, Bill, was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. There was an issue a different dealership couldn’t figure out. Bill and his team found it and fixed it pretty quickly. I have owned many Nissan vehicles over the years and service manager Bill Rideout has always provided me with great customer service. Currently I own a 2020 Pathfinder that had been damaged and Bill and service manager Bill Rideout has always provided me with great customer service. Currently I own a 2020 Pathfinder that had been damaged and Bill and the Gates service department went above and beyond to help me get it fixed right. They have a customer for life. More

Jeanna Zajaczkowski is the Best. She is friendly and tells you everything that needs to be done with your vehicle. she should be the Manager of the Service Department If you go into She is friendly and tells you everything that needs to be done with your vehicle. she should be the Manager of the Service Department If you go into this place ask for her. you don't want to deal with the Manager Bill Ride out. He is not manager quality at all. If The customer has an issue, he has an excuse for everything and makes you seem like your wrong and hes right. he doesn't make sure what is done is done right, very unfriendly and doesn't get the issue resolved or explain it. so if you do go to the Service Department ask For Jeanna Zajaczkowski. shes the advisor, but should run the place and be the manager, she looks like she does more then the manager. I will not be returning with my vehicle to here cause of the experience my friends and family and I had with Bill. had more then 1 bad experience with him. More

I was speaking with Bill Rideout out using Gates to buy my next car and about their service. He provided me with tons of useful information. About an hour later I was speaking to a friend and Bill's name my next car and about their service. He provided me with tons of useful information. About an hour later I was speaking to a friend and Bill's name came up that I should definitely use Gates ALL BECAUSE OF HOW AMAZING BILL RIDEOUT is! Not often these days do people have great things to say about car dealership employees. Looking forward to my next purchase because I know Bill will take care of me! More
