I will never return to this service center! After purchasing a 2021 330i that was CPO I started to receive a warning that my brake pads needed to be replaced. I had only driven the car 9,000 miles before the warning light came on. I made 2 trips from Valrico to Clearwater for 2 service advisors to tell me that they needed to be replaced and it would cost $590 - they did offer a discount to $500 but that was still unacceptable. They said the pads were at 3mm which seemed impossible to me since I had only driven the car $9,000 miles. I was also told the average life of BMW brake pads are 12-14k miles which if that was the case my son who has an M4 would have had to replace his pads 3 times. To make a customer happy that WOULD have returned in the future when it was time to purchase another car, the right thing to do would have been to replace the pads but not at my expense but apparently that was not an option. That would have been the right thing to do and it would have been minimum cost for BMW. I ended up taking my car to my local mechanic and he said the pads still had plenty of use on them and they did not need to be replaced and it was most likely only the sensor. I don’t like the feeling of being taken advantage of so I will never go back to this service center and I would never recommend it! More
