I will never recommend anyone buy a car from Honda Stratham. It has been nothing but issue after issue since we stepped foot in there for a test drive 3 weeks ago. We were interested in purchasing 2 c Stratham. It has been nothing but issue after issue since we stepped foot in there for a test drive 3 weeks ago. We were interested in purchasing 2 cars- an HRV for me and a Volvo S60 for my my fiance. Bill the salesman, shows us both and when we get back to talk numbers the Volvo retail number is showing $30,999. Which is not their website showed for that vehicle. The website had a price of $27,550. I spoke up and said that’s not the right price. Bill goes back to his sales manager and the sales manager states “that’s the right price for the car you drove , the one on our website sold yesterday”. This isn’t making sense because the car we drove had the exact specs and stock number as the one on their website. So immediately we are not getting vibes here and we end up leaving. The next day I decide to call Portsmouth Volkswagen and ask them about this Volvo that we drove that came from their dealership. The sales manager there (super nice) says well they lied to you because I dropped that car off to Honda for you to drive and the price on the website is the correct price. He tells us to tell Honda that we will not be purchasing that vehicle from them and to buy it from Portsmouth who will honor the price on their website. We end up deciding to move forward with the purchase of the HRV from Honda Stratham because it was a good deal and fit our budget. During sale we asked that Weather Tech floor mats be thrown in for all the issues we had from the beginning of the sale. They agree and said that these Weather Techs will be here Tuesday for me and someone will call. Well and entire week goes by- no call. I called 3 times and left two voicemails with Bill and one with someone in sales who promised to call me back and give me some information. Radio silence. Finally a week later I get through to Bill and he tells me oh yeah your “all weather floor mats are in” I told him I did not ask for those I asked for weather techs. I worked for a new car dealer for almost 5 years and I know that the “all weather floor mats” are about 1/2 the cost and they are just rubber mats. Again, we were told “we will order you weather tech floor mats”. I explain this to Bill and he goes “ we don’t even sell weather tech here” interesting since Honda makes them and they are listed on your website. Here we are, 3 weeks later and not a single phone call from Bill or anyone at Honda to let me know the mats are in. I’m so sick of dealing with this place. From the bait and switch to the broken promises and lies. The communication sucks. I will never step foot in this place again. More

This is my second time using them for purchasing a vehicle. Both events were seamless transactions and minimal stress. My latest purchase was a 2024 Honda Ridgeline. I called the salesman my son had u vehicle. Both events were seamless transactions and minimal stress. My latest purchase was a 2024 Honda Ridgeline. I called the salesman my son had used and told him what I was looking for. Bill and I initially took care of everything over the phone. When they located the vehicle we set up a delivery time and it went smooth. Drove away in my new Ridgeline in about an hour and a half. Thanks Bill and the Stratham Honda team. More
