I normally don’t post things like this, but people need to be aware of what I’ve experienced with Hall Ram Dealership and the larger Hall Dealerships group. What started as a recall repair in March 2025 turned into a complete nightmare. After replacing my high-pressure fuel pump, the dealership failed to replace single-use fuel lines. Less than two weeks later, that line ruptured on the interstate—creating a serious fire hazard—and I had to pay out of pocket to tow it back. From there, things only got worse: Repeated repairs and misdiagnoses Being charged for parts I never approved (over $1,500 that had to be removed) Being told I needed a $5,100 head gasket repair… that turned out NOT to be the issue Unauthorized work performed without my consent Finding metal shavings in the engine after they opened it without approval Being told I needed a full engine replacement After 54 visits, I met with management and we agreed they would return my vehicle in running condition and wipe the charges. Instead, I got my vehicle back not running at all. It gets worse — I have video of the vehicle being driven by the dealership AFTER metal shavings were found in the engine… and that’s when the engine finally seized. Now I’m left with: A vehicle that doesn’t run $6,800 in repair costs Extensive damage that did not exist before their work I have documentation, photos, text messages, invoices, and video evidence of everything. At this point, I’ve retained legal counsel and will be pursuing action unless this is made right. If you value your vehicle, your safety, and your wallet, I strongly recommend thinking twice before trusting Hall Ram Dealership or any Hall Dealerships location. This has been one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever dealt with. More
Kasey was the best Service was great. She was very kind, very supportive, professional, and just a breath of fresh air when I was so frustrated. She made me feel so valued. She walked me through every step, helped me get the best price, and got my truck running perfectly after going to several repair shops that gave me the wrong information. My truck that was down for months due to all the other service shops having me fix the wrong thing. Hall CDJR diagnosed it in a few hours and I got my truck back the next morning. They also provided me a ride home when I dropped of my truck, and came back to my house and picked me up when it was time to pick it up. Overall the prices were great being a dealership (I am not used to such affordable pricing for repairs at a dealership). My overall experience was great and stress free and Kasey made this experience wonderful, she is a gem and I will definitely come back for all my service needs. More
I used to be a loyal customer of Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on Virginia Beach Blvd, but my last three visits have progressively gotten worse. Unfortunately, my most recent visit will be my last. I schedule Ram on Virginia Beach Blvd, but my last three visits have progressively gotten worse. Unfortunately, my most recent visit will be my last. I scheduled an appointment to repair my inoperable windshield wipers and, since my inspection was due, I also requested a state inspection. After dropping my vehicle off, I received a text stating they had diagnosed the wiper issue and were recommending additional items. In that same message, I was told I had two broken bolts on the exhaust manifold (one on each side) that would cause my vehicle to fail inspection. This was news to me, so I immediately told the service agent to proceed with repairing the windshield wipers but not to perform the inspection. I was then informed that the inspection sticker had already been removed and that I would be issued a rejection sticker. I was both upset and confused. I dropped my vehicle off knowing it would not pass inspection with inoperable windshield wipers, so how was an inspection performed before the wipers were repaired? When I asked, I was told that when my vehicle was pulled in, the inspection sticker was removed immediately during the diagnostic process. My issue is the order of operations. If I brought my vehicle in primarily for a repair--and only requested an inspection as well--the repair issue should have been diagnosed and communicated to me before performing the inspection. Instead, my inspection sticker was removed before I was advised of the problem or the cost. Once that sticker was gone, I felt forced into a situation where my only options were to pay for repairs or leave with a rejection sticker. That does not sit right with me. I believe a business should operate honestly and not take advantage of customers through procedural pressure. The way this was handled made me feel boxed in rather than informed. What made the situation even worse is that I've only taken my vehicle to Hall, and they recently replaced both left and right catalytic converters. It's ironic that I'm now being told bolts on the exhaust manifold are broken. I am a card-carrying journeyman inside machinist working in ship repair. I understand that bolts don't typically "just break off." While I can't prove when or how it happened, it certainly raises questions. After reflecting on this experience, I truly feel dissatisfied and taken advantage of. I did respond to an email from the service manager asking if I was satisfied. After expressing my concerns, I received a text saying they would see what they could do about the broken bolt- after 3 weeks of hearing no response, I post a review on google. I then received a message stating they could perform the repairs at worst case $1450. But the repair work they performed replacing my catalytic converter did not involve my exhaust manifold. I will maintain this evidence and share with everyone I speak with about car service. Very disappointing. More
