I visited the dealership for a test drive this past Saturday - I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in and was comfortable with the COVID-19 precautions the dealership was taking. Bart quickly came out to greet me and immediately took me out to see the 2019 Impreza I had inquired about. I went for a test drive on my own and really liked the car, but I had promised myself I wouldn't buy it the same day I test drove it. I told Bart as much when I got back and he wasn't pushy at all - he was up front about the fact that lots of other people were inquiring about the car, but not in a way that seemed like he wanted to pressure me. I didn't have to go back to the dealership again - yesterday, I initiated the purchase process online, and by today, my car had been delivered to my front door by Damien, who was also very friendly. Overall, I'd highly recommend buying a car here if you're nervous about shady tactics and getting pressured. My experience was that these are honest folks, and the sticker price on my car was already a great deal. More

He worked with me on the numbers via text/call and made sure I received the necessary paper work to get the check from the financial institution. He did everything he promised and in the end he had a happy customer :) Thank you Bart! I also worked with Jake from finance and most of the stuff was done over one phone call. He went through a couple of extended warranty plans which I was not interested and he wasn't pushy at all which was surprising (because its a rarity) in a happy way. Berman's has great employees who are really professional, just explain about the products you have with clarity and let the customer make the decision which is what Bart and Jake did. They were short staffed the day we made our appointment so we didn’t end up leaving until after 10pm, but Bart consistently checked up on us and offered many amenities for us. The lot to do the test drive in was terribly cramped beyond capacity and you felt like you were going to hit a car on the turns. The only downside about our purchase was that Bart never mentioned that we could extent the bumper to bumper warranty and I did not find out until I met with the finance department; I was pushed towards purchasing Subaru’s additinal protective warranties instead of discussing my car’s extended warranty so I ended up paying more than I intended. Although, Bart and Luke from financing recognized my budget and gave me some discounts on some warranties, which helped greatly. All in all it was a good purchase and experience. More

Highly recommended for Subaru fans This Subaru location is, in my opinion, the best Subaru to car shop. My friend referred me to this specific Subaru location and I wish I came to this location first. I paid a visit to the Skokie Subaru and they were unprofessional. The car I was looking at was not even in, as the manager drove it out and when he came back, it was extremely dirty. So I left. I came to this location, and Bart treated me with courtesy. He was very patient, explaining the differences between a base model, premium, and limited. Whatever question you asked he had an answer for. The only thing he couldn't do was lower the cost of the car I wanted to our desired price, and that's understandable. So he brought the manager, Lou, over and he handled everything professionally as well. We were able to come to an agreement within 20- minutes of bargaining. I've car shoppped four times in my life, and this is definitely the smoothest time I have had. Definitely this Subaru location over ANY other location. More
