Autopark Honda is refusing to pay over $9,900 for a vehicle I sold them. On September 29, 2023, I traded in a 2020 Honda Odyssey to Autopark Honda as part of a transaction to lease a new vehicle. I vehicle I sold them. On September 29, 2023, I traded in a 2020 Honda Odyssey to Autopark Honda as part of a transaction to lease a new vehicle. I had $10,000 in equity in the trade-in, and instead of putting that money down on the new car, Autopark Honda and I agreed they would pay me $9,999 cash for the equity. I was told I would receive the cash payment when the lienholder processed the payoff amount for the outstanding loan. I left the trade-in with Autopark and left confident that I would get my money in a week or so. The payoff was processed on October 4, 2023, and the lienholder has already mailed me a check for a $90 overpayment. Autopark Honda has not paid me a dime of the remaining $9,900 in equity. Despite the earlier statement that I would get my money when the payoff was processed by the lienholder, Brandon Rigney, the General Sales Manager, now says I won't get paid until the DMV issues a paper title. This is not what I was initially told, and there is nothing in the paperwork I signed allowing Autopark Honda to hold payment until DMV issues a paper title. Mr. Rigney said the DMV process will take 4-6 weeks despite the fact that the DMV website says titles can be processed in 2-3 weeks. I asked Mr. Rigney what would happen if the DMV took 6 months to issue a paper title. He said that would not happen, but never said that Autopark would pay what they owe if something fell through the cracks at DMV. Mr. Rigney also said the check for the amount Autopark owes me has been printed and is waiting in Accounting, but they will not release it to me. I've bought three cars from Autopark in the last 4 years and had all the service for those cars done at Autopark. If I had written this review six weeks ago, it would have been five stars. I'm extremely disappointed in how badly Autopark has treated a loyal, repeat customer. More

DO NOT COME HERE. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I've had great experiences here in the past. We purchased a vehicle here in 2007. We referred friends here, yea If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I've had great experiences here in the past. We purchased a vehicle here in 2007. We referred friends here, years after. I don't know what they've done with management or anything, but it's nothing good. A manager at the location, Malik Moss, caused an accident on my Civic. It's a manual, and he didn't leave it in gear or pull the parking break, so it ended up rolling into another customer's car, causing these damages. Police Report wasn't issued on the same day either because Malik was trying to push me out of there. Next day, police come for the accident report. Malik supposedly went to a body shop to get an estimate, and told us that it's $800. Cop didn't want to write a police report because it was supposed to be less than $1000. Interesting how insurance comes back and tells me it's $1300 worth of damages. It's been 2 weeks since the accident today, and I was informed that I would have to drop my vehicle off and they would take care of fixing it and stuff. Guess what? They haven't. I had to call their insurance company 2 days after the accident and file the claim myself because they hadn't even put in the claim. Can't even take responsibility, clearly. Don't come here. Don't let Malik touch your car. Go to Leith Honda. 3940 Capital Hills Dr, Raleigh, NC 27616 More than two weeks passes, and Malik texted me that they can raise the offer by $1000. I texted Malik and told him that the past two weeks have been a pain, and told him that they can increase the offer to something much higher, since the past two weeks didn't need to happen if he would have accepted my initial offer. Then I received a call from the General Sales Manager, Brandon Rigney. He tried to explain to me how they increased the offer by $1000. He told me that because the car has to be fixed, they took $1000 off what I wanted and is giving me the new price. For an accident their employee caused. How much sense does that make? Additionally, he said he would write me a personal check for the damages, by the estimation given by the insurance company. I asked if they would give me a rental car during this period, or even a car to use, he said no. Again, what? I'll be car-less, and they're not going to give a car. This place is ridiculous. Take your business elsewhere. Don't come here. Don't let Malik touch your car. Go to Leith Honda. 3940 Capital Hills Dr, Raleigh, NC 27616 More
