Do not use their service department. Service Advisors are ok although the techs are horrible. 4 out of 7 times they stated they rotated my tires, I marked them and they did not. I have brought this to Austin’s attention and heard he will speak to his techs. 4 times to me in 7 services. Unfortunately this falls on the service manager. Makes me really wonder if they are changing my oil as they state it’s being done on the receipt. Beware of ANY service here More

On behalf of a coworker of mine, I must say this is the worst customer service I have seen extended to anyone. Despite the fact that she is a female, just had her vehicle fully serviced with warrantied en worst customer service I have seen extended to anyone. Despite the fact that she is a female, just had her vehicle fully serviced with warrantied engine work. The vehicle overheated on the first day, it was driven, after picking it up. Called the dealership asking to have it towed and was told it was not their responsibility; she would need to call and arrange a tow truck ($275). Loose bolting was found under the hood. One of the belts on the vehicle is not even spinning. Poor service work, poor quality control on service of vehicle. Not a dealership I would trust to handle my vehicles. Your entire service team may need some additional training in customer service and retention of customer's moving forward. Too bad we cannot select "ZERO STARS". That is what is deserved. More

Whatever you do, don’t use DeMontrond Mazda for any auto repairs! They are trying to make me pay 3,000 for a part that was just replaced under 15,000 miles ago! It’s the turbo in my CX-7 that keeps going o repairs! They are trying to make me pay 3,000 for a part that was just replaced under 15,000 miles ago! It’s the turbo in my CX-7 that keeps going out. It’s definitely a faulty part. If you Google it you will see other people have had problems too w my year model. They said they have a Goodwill dept that could maybe help but I was denied! I am on disability bc of my cancer but that did not matter to them!! Goodwill my xxx!! They are no help at all!! More

We have been working with Kenny F on the sales side for the past three years, and he has treated us like family; we feel so special every time we walk into the dealership. We were nervous about switching from the generation 1 CX-5s to generation 2. Still, Kenny took all the time in the world to walk us through all the mechanical, design, and safety updates in the vehicle to comfort us on the quality we would experience. The management team of Ahmed and Jorge are brilliant; they maintain a great group of employees and provide a competitive yet fair rate on all their vehicles. The employees of this dealership maintain a high level of consistency in service, from the car buying experience to every oil change and service appointment you book. Mazda vehicles last forever (we are at 216k+ miles on our 2014 CX-5), and they keep improving yearly by introducing new models and special editions. Most dealerships will forget about you once you purchase the car, but DeMontrond stays connected with each owner throughout the vehicle ownership period and beyond. The service department of Austin and the 3 J's (John, Jonathan & James) are the best! We enjoy seeing this group every time we come in for service. I have been going to DeMontrond Mazda before it became DeMontrond Mazda. I have bought several new vehicles over the years from Kenny who has always been a fantastic salesman, not too pushy & always work DeMontrond Mazda. I have bought several new vehicles over the years from Kenny who has always been a fantastic salesman, not too pushy & always worked hard to get me everything I wanted. This past Saturday, I was on my way to show houses when I noticed the wrench had came on in my car letting me know it was time to get the oil changed. I pulled in without an appointment, but they made time for my car. I told them I was in a huge hurry so they even push a rush on it so that I was in and out so quickly. I even got a video of what was being done to my car. They have always take care of me & all my family members that have also bought from Kenny. We all really appreciate the great service & the kindness they always deliver even when your in a huge rush they cater to your every need!!! Love this dealership & everyone that works there! BEST SERVICE EVER!!!! More

We had the best experience at DeMontrond!! AK, the sales manager, handled our service to get the blackout package. It was seamless and done in less time than they quoted. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I responded to the “How was your service experience?” With a letter documenting my experience. Below is the letter that was sent.... 1-31-2021 Good Morning Austin, I appreciate you following up on my visit this past week to Demontrond Mazda. This response maybe a little longer than most but I feel it needs to be said. I have always had a positive experience at this dealership until my last visit. First I would like to say that I have truly enjoyed my Mazda vehicle, in fact it is one that I was considering when purchasing my next vehicle, but not any longer. The reason is the Demontrond dealership which would be my local dealership. On Jan. 26th I went into the dealership to see if they could assist me in getting my license plate lights replace. I had the lights with me as I had purchased them thinking Auto Zone could replace them on site. They could not. I went into the offices and was promptly greeted by one of the gentlemen on staff. I told him what I needed and asked him the cost. He said he would need to check with the shop and in the meantime handed me over to another gentleman probably in his early 30’s but appeared to be the one in charge, while he went to check on the cost. This young man walked with me out to my car as I was explaining to him what I was wanting. He listened then informed me that he would gladly change it right here for me but changing out this light entailed removing the panel above the license plate. I was shocked and said, “You are kidding” he said no it should be easier than that but it wasn’t. I am an older women that is not knowledgeable about vehicles. (This statement should not be necessary, but it is relevant, because I don’t feel that this would of occurred with a knowledgeable male.) At this time he informed me that they could change it out for me. He walked me back in the building, the other man that was checking on the cost returned and said it was a .5 hour job so it would be between $50-$60. I said well if that panel has to come out I don’t have a choice and proceeded to the waiting area. I immediately sent a text to my son-in-law explaining the situation. He immediately responded with “That panel does not have to be removed!”. I went straight back to the young man in charge and informed him of what my son-in-law had just told me. I also told him the information came from a Mazda website. The young man in charge asked that I send him the link that my son-in-law had found. Took about 2 minutes but then he had the link. He pulled the link up on his computer but never addressed that he was incorrect or that he had lied to me. He just kind of sat there looking at the link. I asked for my vehicle. I went straight to my son-in-law he popped off the cover changed the lights in less than 5 minutes, no tools needed at all. Over the last year I have had my vehicle in for service that was recommended by your dealership. It really makes me wonder how much I was overcharged and lied to by people that were working at this dealership. Needless to say I will not be returning to this dealership and I am very, very disappointed that people that you have working for you are able to operate in this manner. I feel like I would be taken advantage of at every turn. There is no longer any trust in this business and will not be a future Mazda customer. Sincerely, Carol Shefcik More

Austin Russell was very detail oriented and helpful with my service appointment and was good about honoring my coupon. He's also a nice person! He checked on quite a few things I was wanting to do for my ca my service appointment and was good about honoring my coupon. He's also a nice person! He checked on quite a few things I was wanting to do for my car that day and the overall service time for the services was quick. I am pleased with the experience and ALWAYS make the drive from Houston Heights to this dealership (where I bought my Mazda 3) for my Mazda needs. More
