Two days later, the dealership emailed me the Carfax report. After reviewing it, and noticing that the vehicle came with only one key fob, I became concerned that the Highlander had not been well cared for. As a result, I decided to trade the 2022 Highlander back and repurchase my 2025 RAV4. I returned to the dealership immediately after reading the Carfax report and spoke with Dan, the Used Car Sales Manager, about my decision. I fully understand that this situation resulted from my own oversight, and I recognize that it caused inconvenience for the dealership. I was prepared to accept the financial consequences of my mistake. I sincerely appreciate Dan for agreeing to help me repurchase my RAV4. I would also like to thank Ashley, who handled the RAV4 purchase on the fifth day. She was professional, patient, and made every effort to assist with my request. I also appreciate Nick, the sales manager, for working with me and reducing the overall cost of the transaction. In the end, I paid $7,000 to get my RAV4 back. While I appreciate the dealership's willingness to help resolve the situation, I had hoped the cost would be closer to $5,000 to $6,000, considering that the entire transaction took place in less than a week. Otherwise I should have given a 5 out of 5 review. Although this experience was costly, it taught me an important lesson: always review a vehicle's Carfax report carefully before purchasing a used car. More
