This is our second car purchase from Bill and the Columbia Honda staff. They are great! They make the process of buying a car so easy and transparent. Because it was so straightforward, it was worth Columbia Honda staff. They are great! They make the process of buying a car so easy and transparent. Because it was so straightforward, it was worth the drive from Lee's Summit. We worked out the details ahead of time and there were no surprises. The car was ready to go and parked up front for our test drive. Bill showed us the features and then we breezed through the document signing with Arthur in the Finance department. I would definitely go back to buy my next car. More

Awesome place to do business with. Friendly and very efficient. Did not take as long as most car dealerships. We were offered drinks and snacks while we waited. Our salesman Dennis Friendly and very efficient. Did not take as long as most car dealerships. We were offered drinks and snacks while we waited. Our salesman Dennis Wood was awesome and Arthur got our sale closed out and kept us up on what was going on. I would highly recommend this dealership. It was my son buying a vehicle (his first time) and he was very impressed. More

If I could give a negative rating I would. I was in a bizarre accident before Christmas, my car was totaled, so I needed a new car ASAP, and my shopping time was limited. I had decided on th I was in a bizarre accident before Christmas, my car was totaled, so I needed a new car ASAP, and my shopping time was limited. I had decided on the CR-V Hybrid. I met my salesman, Dennis, and he found me a car to test drive. I decided to buy it on the spot. Given that it was quick purchase, I would have thought that I would have been offered something other than a tiny bit off of the top. Upgraded floor mats cost them next to nothing. Anyway, next, I met with Arthur, finance, who sold me an "uprgraded" extended service and road advantage policy ($4900). He didn't ask me what terms I wanted just gave me numbers. So, he had to go back and redo. Fine, I drive the car off of the lot. A couple of weeks later I go to put my plates on my car. There was no bracket for a front plate. Aggravating, but people make mistakes. I call the service department who I assumed was going to put the bracket on for me. The gal who answered the phone just said I needed to talk to sales. (??) I thought I was being transferred to a manger. Nope, just a sales associate. He then transferred me to Dennis. At no time did any of the 3 offer an apology. No one said, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, let me see how I can help you." What I got from Dennis was "what do you want me to do about it?" REALLY?! This man did NO work in selling me a car, but definitely made a commission from it. Of course, I asked to speak to the manger, Dave. He didn't apologize for the bad service I received just that, "he would just fall on the sword." I said to him that his business is sales and service of which I didn't receive either. He then offered me a free tank of gas and my car detailed on my first service visit. And then, he reminded me that my first 2 years of service were free. These service visits are offered from Honda when you buy the car, not from the dealership. Dave then calls me the next day to let me know he spoke with the service department. I could tell from the conversation that he wasn't getting that it wasn't the missing bracket that I had been angry about, it was the crappy service. I then find out that my warranties are not Hondacare, but a third party which I could have bought for myself for a lot less money. I bought Hondacare and maintenance from another dealer ($1900). I called Columbia after this and spoke to Noah to cancel my warranties. I didn't have to go in. He did this over the phone. He was very pleasant. No hassles, no problems. I also had to go into the service department to have a plastic piece replaced. TJ, the service manager, happened to be the one to help me. I told him that I found a check off list of things that were to be done to my car. Of which, the plate bracket was not checked off. He looked up my car and explained how that happened. He also took my phone number to listen to the call. Why didn't Dave listen to the call? I got the impression that TJ never heard about the issue I had with the missing bracket. I don't know if it's because I'm a single female, or what, but I would go to another dealer. More
