I flew to Arizona, from San Diego, because the salesman and sales manager said I was approved for a Camaro. I wanted a manual transmission and at the time this was the only one. They promised me all I had and sales manager said I was approved for a Camaro. I wanted a manual transmission and at the time this was the only one. They promised me all I had to do was submit my downpayment of $1500.00 and sign papers. I did all that and drove away with the car. 3 weeks later Sands Chevrolet was threatening me to drive the car back because the financing fell through. How is this possible? I was promised everything was good to go. They then stated they couldn't verify employment, which is completely a lie because according to my HR and supervisor they never called. I witnessed my supervisor call the bank myself so I'm not sure what this dealership is trying to pull. They then sent a tow truck to my house to come get the car, because of my disability I explained I was unable to drive 5 hours to Arizona to bring it back. Also, how would I get home? This has already cost me a flight and expenses when I first picked up the vehicle. As soon as the car was picked up I was promised by Stephen Yglesias that he would work on my refund. It has been weeks and I am still without a car and without my 1500.00 dollars. I spoke to Chad Helmer the General Manager and he wanted to offer me a customer "Good Will" of 1,000. Why am I not getting my full 1500? Then he proceeded to say it cost him 1700 to tow the vehicle. How is that my fault or problem? This dealership is one scam after another. I am still currently waiting for my $1500.00 refund. Please go anywhere else if you want a vehicle. I have never had this experience and have purchased many vehicles. More

Our Salesman, Art, was wonderful He was very helpful & got us financed right away. My wife could not go down to the dealership because she was watching our great-grandson-so Art brou He was very helpful & got us financed right away. Overall a good experience I had been dreading car shopping and putting it off, based on really horrible experiences over the years at valley dealerships. I went to Sands Chev I had been dreading car shopping and putting it off, based on really horrible experiences over the years at valley dealerships. I went to Sands Chevrolet because my father had some previous good experiences there. Art was our salesperson and he was fantastic . None of the greasy "car salesman" stuff we were used to. He answered all of our questions and was very educated about the inventory. Art stayed with us during two separate visits AND offered to personally drive the car to my home over an hour away a few days later when it was ready for delivery. Update : Two days after delivery I realized that my car was not programmed ( the internal sps) to have two keys. Had to go to a dealer close to home and spend several hours to have that corrected. Same day - drove over a nail... obviously that is no fault of the dealer. However, when I got to the tire shop; I was told that each wheel had a locking lug nut and I was not given a wheel lock key by the dealer . Sands wanted me to drive back to Glendale to get all new wheel locks because they couldn't find the missing key. Paid to have it corrected elsewhere when the sales manager didn't return my call as promised. Overall a good experience - but not without some bumps in the road More
