When my friend and I showed up at the dealership, we were quickly greeted by Kelley, who was waiting near our car. She asked a few questions about what I was looking for and my price range, and automatically quickly greeted by Kelley, who was waiting near our car. She asked a few questions about what I was looking for and my price range, and automatically ruled out Outback’s. She showed us a few Foresters and Crosstreks. She let us test drive a Forester while she went to pick up another car from a different lot. I appreciate the fact that she was never pushy about the cars, but she also didn’t seem to “sell” us on any. I had done some homework on Subarus but I’ve never owned one so it would have been nice if she showed me more of the bells and whistles. It was interesting because after we were there for a couple hours, test drove some cars, and then we asked to sit down and talk numbers and we got the feeling like she didn’t want to.... she said it was a really busy night, which it was (it was Black Friday) and she didn’t know if she could get a desk and that we would have to wait. I kinda got a feeling that she didn’t think I was serious about a purchase. My friend told her that knowing the numbers would help me make a decision and we would be willing to wait, in which she replied, “Interesting” and went to check for a desk. Eventually we sat down, she showed us numbers, we asked questions, there was lots of waiting, and we finally negotiated a number that we were both happy with. Since the purchase, Kelley has been so nice and helpful. She gave me her phone number to text if I had any questions about my car. I found a scratch on my car the day after I purchased it and she was able to get me in the following week to get it buffed out. I’m very happy with my purchase and my overall experience at Bob Baker Subaru. More
