Over the years I have purchase many vehicles. Sedans, SUVs and trucks. To date I don’t think or can remember an experience like the one Don Davis Nissan of Arlington provided. Initially the attention was good while making the purchased unfortunately once I was done with signing what was promised has yet to be delivered. I was promised a second key by the used sales manager Kelsey Grammer. I bought the vehicle for my son which I left at the dealer for 2 weeks so they could clean it and have it ready along with extra key. When I reach out that I would be picking up the vehicle the sales person informed me that the key was not ready due to some pathetic excuse that my vehicle had not been funded. I paid a deposit/down payment of 10k. They had plenty of funding for my extra key. From there I escalated the matter to Kelsey Grammer who then refused to talk to me when I picked up the vehicle. So instead we agreed that I would provide a receipt from BMW for the new key. I emailed the receipt to Kelsey on Saturday the 11th of Oct and to date he has not replied. I live in Dallas the dealership is in Arlington so that was an understood agreement. When my wife and I gave the vehicle to my son we started showing him features and extras. To our surprise the head rest for the third row seats were missing. These were in the vehicle when we made the purchase and now missing. I have emailed Kelsey multiple times and have called multiple times. I also reach out to Linda at their corporate office who said she would share my email with the general manager. That was two days ago. They have yet to contact me to get the matters resolved. I don’t know if this is the policy of the Clay Cooley group who own Don Davis Nissan of Arlington to ignore until the buyer goes away. I am not going away and I will pursue this matter further. On 5/19/25:I had a written contract for a 2020 Nissan Leaf EV, that I lived. The government has a program to promote EVs for people with a 70,000 or less income and they will apply 4000 towards the down Leaf EV, that I lived. It took 2 days to get the car because I was told the brakes needed repairing. 2 days later the car stopped on me because of problems with the battery. The car and myself were picked up and driven to the dealership. After 7 hours I was given a loaner car and within a week I was told to bring it back because they don't have insurance on their loaners and neither did my insurance. I was also told it would be 2 months before my car would be ready. Unless I could get a co-signer for another car. I decided to wait It has now been going on the 4th month and I still have no car. The salesman that I worked with no longer works their and the manager Quincy Martin said he would keep in touch but I have only heard his voice 1 time since then and when I call he has them to tell me it's still in service, but I have other questions. I received a text message from the service department saying it could be several months. This entire situation is very close to the Lemon Law I should have been placed in another vehicle with the exact same arrangements the only difference being the name maybe and the VIN number. I said it before and I will say it again, I believe I have been discriminated against because I am a Single Black Disabled 68 yr old Female Senior Citizen in the Low Income bracket. Quincy Martin said he does not discriminated but people discriminate against their on race all the time. And just figuring I would forget about this and just brush me under the rug. But I have Congested Heart Failure and it has been xxxx going to all these appointments on the bus in this heat. That's why the is so important and the car note and insurance was perfect for my fixed income budget But I have reached out to channel 4 for help and I will keep talking and reaching out until someone helps me. It is a shame that No One in that Don Davis Nissan organization would fix a simple problem that could help a poor old woman. Just know that I may seem as if I am by myself but I am not. And AnyOne thinking about buying a vehicle from this place needs to be very careful and make sure you are working with a honest person. The purchase of my 2023 Mini Countryman was a dream; however there was a paint issue that was never addressed by my sales person plus no open communication when I brought my car in for a repair due to t however there was a paint issue that was never addressed by my sales person plus no open communication when I brought my car in for a repair due to the gearbox came apart. All of this is under 30 days. I was told the warranty purchased didn’t cover the repair and to reach out to Mini. Is this how you take care of your customers? I will be reporting these 2 concerns to BBB as I believe my requests weren’t taken seriously and I will not buy another vehicle from Don Davis again. More
