Cx-5 was CPO. Engine light came on day after purchase, which was due to malfunction water valve in engine. Dealer tried to ask if it was because of gas tank cap no Engine light came on day after purchase, which was due to malfunction water valve in engine. Dealer tried to ask if it was because of gas tank cap not being fully closed after filling. Been driving for 10+ years you don’t think I know how to close a gas tank properly? It was an inconvenience bringing car back to dealership because I was in the process of moving to Quincy MA. Had to drive back to RI to have car picked up and which a loaner wasn’t provided because “new car wasn’t fully registered”. Was told multiple times by dealer “you will never be left WITHOUT a car. It was a hassle on my time and my family’s time and frustrating. Broken cabin light bulb which was not found until I picked up the car. Could’ve gotten light bulb replaced when it went down for that water valve problem, but guess it was forgotten…Was this really a “Mazda certified CPO” as I was told? I loved Flood Mazda before and always brought my Mazda6 there before it died and got the CX-5 but not sure about now….disappointed honestly. Also when asking for better rates on financing the car, got a big sigh and slamming of the keyboard while typing from the financial advisor because he had to run it through again. Made it seem like it was a hassle? Attitude was not appreciated when investing a large amount of money on my first purchased car. More
