Always treated as the most important customer! I can’t imagine taking my Chev products anywhere else. Amanda was able to get my blazer in on a last minute battery change. I am a returning customer at 5-Star Chevrolet in Carrollton. My car was in service recently to replace the axle and the sway links. They did a great job on it and all the noises I was hearing were all gone and my car drives smoothly now going over bumps or uneven roads. My service advisor, Humberto recommended an alignment, but I wanted to wait. So yesterday I found an online coupon from Brakes Plus and decided to take my car in for an alignment with the coupon. After nearly two hours of waiting there the guy who works there told me they couldn't do the alignment because both struts were busted and he suggested that my extended warranty from MPP might cover the struts and gave me an estimate for over $1000. I was very surprised and decided to put the alignment on hold because I needed a second opinion. I went back to 5-Star Chevrolet and told Humberto what Brakes Plus had told me about the struts being busted and Humberto stood behind his technician and said that he trusts his tech would have informed him if the struts were bad. He got my car in promptly to take a second look. A few minutes later I was greeted by the service director, Joe Marchbanks. Joe said he has inspected the struts himself and they are not busted and do not need replacement. He also took the time to explain to me the structure of the components and what I would feel and hear on the road if the struts have gone bad or "busted" like what they told me at Brakes Plus. Joe also shared that he has been with GM for many years and that he was a technician for over 20 years. He said he believes in the integrity and the work of GM. It was a very profound statement because not many people nowadays can truly stand behind their company, thier products and their work, yet I heard this statement twice yesterday when I was there yesterday. In the end Joe graciously offered a complimentary alignment and that was totally unexpected. Words cannot express my gratitude enough for Joe and his team, including the technician who worked on my car. Overall, I had a wonderful experience working with them. They genuinely cared about my concerns and they made me feel very important. The service team has earned my trust! I will definitely take my car back for service again and will recommend all my friends with Chevy to take their cars to 5-Star Chevrolet in Carrollton for service. Thank you Joe and your team!
