I set up an appointment on the phone to get my oil
changed and a check engine light checked out. The woman on the phone said that I will have to leave my truck there for up to 2 days for the check eng
changed and a check engine light checked out. The woman on the phone said that I will have to leave my truck there for up to 2 days for the check engine light. She said," that might change, the person checking you in will let you know".
I checked in and was told nothing about leaving the truck there. Probably my fault for not asking. 2 hours went by (typical for an oil change) and I didn't hear anything. I asked if she could come see me when she had a moment. She got busy then I asked her again about an hour later if she could check on the truck. She forgot about me. She checked the computer and told me that the truck would have to be left there for at least a day and that she didn't know that I stayed there. What a mess.
I called DeNooyer, they are getting me in tomorrow morning and said I should have the truck back the next day if the check engine light is not to serious.
To me, Northstar Chevrolet was so much better, I wish they never sold out.
Me and my family (Chevy owners) will go somewhere else for service and new vehicles.
