I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Lexus of Pembroke Pines regarding my lease buyout process. As a loyal Lexus customer who has always appreciated the brand's integrity and transp with Lexus of Pembroke Pines regarding my lease buyout process. As a loyal Lexus customer who has always appreciated the brand's integrity and transparency, this encounter has left me questioning my continued loyalty to Lexus. I initially planned to handle my lease buyout at JM Lexus in Margate, FL, where I’ve always received exemplary service. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts and the approaching end of my lease, I turned to Lexus of Pembroke Pines for assistance. This turned out to be a mistake. Upon arrival, I asked numerous questions about the lease buyout process, including whether fees, financing options, and procedures were the same across all Lexus dealerships. The sales representative assured me everything was identical across dealerships, which influenced my decision to proceed with the buyout at this location. My father was present and can attest that I asked detailed questions to make an informed decision. Here are the issues I faced: 1. Misrepresentation of Fees: I later discovered that the $800 dealer fee and $600 electronic fee charged by Lexus of Pembroke Pines were not standard across dealerships. These fees were falsely represented as being uniform across all Lexus dealerships. 2. Unapproved Add-Ons: I was unknowingly charged for windshield protection and a perma coating package, which were substituted for dealer fees. These add-ons were not requested or explained to me, and they were added to my loan without my consent. 3. Lack of Transparency: At no point was I provided with a clear breakdown of the charges or given an opportunity to review and approve them. 4. Misleading Comments About JM Lexus: The financial manager claimed JM Lexus would not have appointments for months to handle lease buyouts, which I later confirmed was false. This misinformation further pressured me into proceeding at this dealership. 5. Omission of Lease Extension Option: I was never informed that extending my lease for six months was an option. If I had known, I would have pursued this instead of rushing into a buyout process that did not meet my needs. Attempts to resolve these issues directly with Lexus of Pembroke Pines were equally disappointing. Despite my repeated efforts to contact the dealership, I was not connected to a manager until two days later when it was too late to cancel and proceed with an extension of my lease. The only resolution offered was a complementary oil change, a gesture that falls far short of addressing the financial and emotional impact of this experience. I have since filed a formal complaint with Lexus Corporate, as the lack of transparency and misleading practices at this dealership do not reflect the Lexus brand I’ve trusted for years. To anyone considering doing business with Lexus of Pembroke Pines, I strongly recommend exercising caution and thoroughly reviewing all charges and options before proceeding. This experience has been a stark contrast to the exceptional service I’ve received at JM Lexus, and I am hopeful Lexus Corporate will take steps to address these issues and restore my faith in the brand. I am not a person who like to complain. Everything looked ok the first day I went there. After I made the deposit and selected the exterior and interior color I kept contact with Alon and a Everything looked ok the first day I went there. After I made the deposit and selected the exterior and interior color I kept contact with Alon and asked about status, almos a month later he gave me an aprox date of arrival, he contacted me to see if I wanted another color and I did not wanted a different exterior color. Then I contacted again when I saw nobody contacted me after the Hurricane Milton passed and I left a voice message since he did not picked up the phone and sent an email and he replied saying he will contact me after he finish with a customer. That day he never called me then about 4 or 5 days later I decide to call and spoke with Vergara and he said he will contact Alon and then he will call me back. Nobody called me back. Again the next day at night around 8 pm I called and explained to Vergara nobody contacted me he said he spoke with some inventory person and he said there was a delay and also asked me after waiting for 1 month and 19 days if I wanted a different color, I specified I will not mind to change the interior color but exterior has to be Atomic Gray. He then told me he will be in a meeting next day in the morning and he will call me to give me a response, that meeting was supposed to take place on Friday the 18th. Again nobody called me. Then Saturday the 19th of October I called Vergara in the morning and he told me he was sorry but he was off that day. Which is very strange because he told me he will have a meeting that day. Then after all these I decided to call the manager and tell him the story and how I'm feeling when I'm the customer and I have to chase them and nobody cares. I asked for a refund since at that point I lost complete trust on Lexus Prembroke Pines. He told me he will take care of it and he will have a meeting on Monday the 21 st of october and he will bring that up that day. Today is Monday 21st and I checked my bank account and I can't find any refund. Sincerely Dr. Tomas Baez More
