First when I went to look for a car, they assumed my male significant other was the one purchasing the car even though I was the one that called and
First when I went to look for a car, they assumed my male significant other was the one purchasing the car even though I was the one that called and made the appointment. I went somewhere else to buy a Honda.
Then, I needed my first oil change and
figured I would give it another try since they're "award winning service providers" and was told an oil change and a tire rotation was going to be $129, a little steep but i needed it so whatever. Emphasized multiple times that was all I wanted. I signed the papers then last second was pressured into getting my air and engine filter replaced, told the total would be around 200, then it was $300 total. By the way the parts for the filters were $60 total and I was charged over $100 in "labor costs" for being there for 30 minutes. I'm 23 I can't really afford to randomly spend that amount of money.
I tried calling numerous times after the fact then was told I was going to speak to the general manager. Never heard anything after.
Cherry on top is that they sent me a letter to sign up for a service contract. I was completely taken advantage of being new to the area. I don't think anyone should go through that.

Our system keeps a complete history for your vehicle and mileage, and it indicated your vehicle was due for new air and oil filters. We share this information with you so that you may choose to accept or decline recommended maintenance. We’re sorry to hear you felt pressured into a decision. That’s definitely not our intention. Rather, our goal is to advise, and our promise is thoughtful, reliable service.
