Ladies and Gentlemen, the "old bait and switch" is still alive at DCH Toyota of Freehold. Online, there was a black RAV4. We called the salesman we met the Saturday before, Alex, to let him know that we wer alive at DCH Toyota of Freehold. Online, there was a black RAV4. We called the salesman we met the Saturday before, Alex, to let him know that we were interested in the vehicle as described on their site. After two calls, he returned our call around 1 p.m. I explained to him that we were interested in the black one and that we wanted to save some time by filling out any paperwork ahead of time. We then filled out the credit application, which was approved. We told him that we would be there by 6:15 that night to finalize the paperwork and pick up the car. We were seven minutes away from the dealership when he told us that the car had been sold. Obviously upset, we asked that he search other dealers for a black version. After waiting another half-hour, we were told that they could not locate one. Once we arrived at the dealer, we met the Sales Manager, Brian, who informed us that we would have to pick another color vehicle. I expressed my dissatisfaction with Alex not informing us ahead of time that he could not hold the car for us. He then informed us that they don't ever hold cars, news to us up to this point. If we had known that, we would have gone to the dealer immediately, four hours earlier. Brian also used the not-so-calming technique of stating, "I cannot go back in time and change that," and that he was a "problem solver." This, along with no real apology from either of them, probably because they do this all the time, with no remorse. I suggested later that instead of being a problem solver, to be a problem preventer and inform customers that they do not hold cars, so they can plan accordingly. He then tried to appease me by telling me that he was giving us the car at their cost from Toyota, which turned out not to be true. In fact, it was just the MSRP before any additional features, which saved us a whole $459.00. Ultimately, we were left in a position that we had to settle for a different vehicle than we intended. Which, by the way, three days later, is STILL listed on their site as available. This experience is everything we all dread when it comes to buying a car. More

Well the car is nice, but I can't get them to send me my registration and tags. I've called, texted, emailed - no luck. I'll never buy from them and they get no stars due to customer service. registration and tags. I've called, texted, emailed - no luck.
