Alex is my Guy!!! I prefer to use Alex as my customer care rep. He knows me and my cars and the fact that I expect my cars to kast a long time. He keeps me up to date on scheduled and some extra attention my car would need. My cars are huge investments and should live up to the Honda reputation. I know you are in the buisinesx of selling new cars but I am practical and can live with cars with higher mileages on them. Some dings and scratches don’t motivate me to want to get a newer model car. We live in such a disposable society with our valuable investments. The moment I feel I can no longer trust Honda’s reputation and the quality of their service I will look to other automakers. We do have choices. For me Honda is my choice. The only issue I had was looking up the price for the work I had on the car. For some reason when I do a search of the cost of the specific job Atlantic always exceeds the price of the cost of the job. Flushing my brakes should have been priced under $100 but I was charged double that. 🤷🏽???I’ve slwsys payed the high end prices for most of what I get done. Rear brakes oil change and brake fluid flush cost me nearly $600 with discount coupons? Forget about the prices of swapping filters out for air cabin and engine. They go through the trouble of opening them up to let you know you need them replaced. And then charge me three to four times of what the filters actually cost. I do that myself these days. It’s not rocket science. The least they can do while they have it opened up is blow out some of the debris in the filters but I found they won’t do that. U get proper filter replacement from certified Honda parts at a fraction of the cost. I instruct Alex to tell the mechanic not to bother checking the filters any more. Otherwise I’m good with the service from Atlantic Honda. At times I break it up and go to Barron Honda in patchogue and have found that experience to be quite pleasant.
