After tirelessly searching for this vehicle, we were initially impressed with the rapid-fire responses from the sales rep, Megan Bliss, who conveniently vanished once the deal was done. They fed us a line about this car being well-maintained and previously owned by a local auto performance shop owner. We were suckered into believing it was a "Ford Blue Advantage Certified" vehicle, assuring us of a 139-point inspection and a 90-day/4,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty coverage (which, surprise, surprise, turned out to be utterly worthless). As if that wasn't enough, they peddled us another overpriced warranty through Total Warranty Services, probably getting a nice kickback in the process. Fast forward to December 17, 2023, and I'm cruising down the highway in this lemon they sold me when suddenly, the xxxx thing starts falling apart! No warning lights, no error messages—just a cacophony of grinding metal and the sickening realization that I've been duped. Turns out, the engine was on the brink of self-destruction, courtesy of Five Star Ford's shoddy maintenance and outright negligence. I hauled the wreckage to my local Lexus dealer, who were equally flabbergasted by the mess they uncovered. Heavy debris in the oil, bearings shot to xxxx, camshafts grooved beyond recognition—the works! And what's the excuse from Five Star Ford? Oh, they conveniently produced a service report from October 2023, claiming they topped up the oil. But guess what? The car had been running on fumes long before that, a fact they conveniently overlooked in their rush to make a quick buck. So here I am, without a vehicle, thanks to these low-life scammers at Five Star Ford. They parade around selling certified junk, preying on unsuspecting customers like myself, and then have the audacity to send me reminders for an oil change—like rubbing salt in the wound. “Our trained technicians will do all of the essential inspections to make sure that your 2022 Lexus IS 500 is in top running condition.” Seriously?!? It's sickening that they continue to operate with impunity, leaving a trail of ripped-off customers in their wake. Consider this a warning to anyone foolish enough to set foot in their den of deceit- stay clear at all costs. More

Their mistakes will cost you. I purchased a 2015 F150 from Five Star Ford Lincoln in Warner Robins GA. I had to have a co-signer. The following day I find out that they have put my co-signer on the tag and title. (Most people assume that a co-signer has to be on the tag and title, but that is not true. If you co-sign and get put on the tag and title you are not only responsible if the buyer defaults on payments, you can also be sued if the buyer has an accident and gets sued). I went back and told them if the co-signer was not taken off the tag and title then the sale was over and I would not accept the vehicle when it arrived. The Finance Manager claims to have called the bank and have my co-signer removed from the title. He also says it will increase my payment amount. The new sales contract was signed and only I signed the tag and title forms. I asked if the old contract was going to be shredded and he tells me yes it would. I pickup the vehicle a couple of days later. A week later I call the tag office and find out Five Star Ford still had my co-signer on the tag and title! I call them and ask why did this happen. I am told that the wrong contract got submitted by mistake. The one that was to be shredded got put back into the sales folder and they sent it in instead of the correct one! They ensure me that this mistake will be corrected and for me not to worry. Fast forward over a month later with several trips there, phone calls to them and a four page letter to the General Manager they say that they cannot change what they did. I had to refinance the vehicle even before my first payment in order to get my co-signer removed from the title. The General Manager finally admitted to me that they made a mistake but that it was out of their hands. Plus during one of my trips to the dealership I am on the sales floor trying to get the receptionist to find the manager and I am suddenly surrounded by salesmen acting like bouncers. Then the salesman I bought from says "I liked you at first, but now you are getting on my nerves"! There is no communication between staff members at Five Star Ford. I have also found out that they ran my co-signers credit as if they were the buyer and not the co-signer. All they care about here is getting another sale and moving to the next one. Be very careful when buying from Five Star Ford because their mistakes and business practices will cost you dearly. More

Origionally I had not planned to buy a new car but Big Al's knowlege and presentation convinced me otherwise. I'm VERY HAPPY with my decision. Al not only pointed out the advantages of Focus ownership, but his knowledge of the car itself was impressive. I have since passed some of the same information to friends and family and I will not be surprised if I see them in a new focus soon as well. Overall, I bought the 2012 Focus because after learning all that I did about it, there was no better choice. THANKS AL! Willie Brown More
