I rate Schaumburg Honda a poor 2 because of the sleazy lies I was told by the Sales Manager, Bujar Terzija. Hopefully, you don’t make the same mistakes I did. In hindsight I should have just got up and le lies I was told by the Sales Manager, Bujar Terzija. Hopefully, you don’t make the same mistakes I did. In hindsight I should have just got up and left. This is my story. On December 8th, I purchased a CRV. The salesperson Aarsh wasn’t too bad. He was nice and wanted to give me the best price possible. The problem was the sales manager. Now when I think of oil, Bujar comes to mind. He was that slick! The gripes I had was that I was forced to take recver gps add-on for $500. Basically it is an airtag. They said it was already installed when in fact it was not installed and sitting in the glove box. Then there was the ProPack. This was a $499 charge for wheel locks, mud guards and a cargo mat. Also, there was a $799 charge for ceramic coating that they said was already applied to the car. I had a detailing specialty shop tint my front windows and they confirmed no ceramic coating was on the car. (it is supposed to bead when sprayed with water) Rather than go back to the dealership and deal with the hassle of explaining why I was back, I concluded my time and money would be better spent to have the specialty shop ceramic coat the car for $850. The price I paid them was worth the peace of mind. For the $799 charge the dealership charged, I basically have a limited warranty. Oh’ well. The main thing I want to focus on is that when I was signing the paperwork, I asked the finance genius, Nicholas Kioutas, “What is this charge of $1595 for Wheel & Tire Warranty Package.” He lied and said, he couldn’t remove it. It was late and I signed, thinking I would cancel before 30 days. (since that’s what the contract stated) So a few days later, I went to talk to Bujar and he again lied and said, that the ‘Dealer Prep’ fee of $1000 was why I had to get the Wheel & Tire Package, so technically I was getting the warranty for $400, since he was going to give me Weather Mats. Didn’t I tell you he was a slick as oil? So, I took the Weather Mats and left. Once more a few days later, I went back to the dealership to cancel the Wheel Tire Package. I knew he wasn’t being truthful since the Destination Fee (which is part of the car price that Honda charges) covers the Dealer Prep fee. This time, I was fuming. In the end, I eventually got the Wheel & Tire Warranty Package cancelled. All it took was a phone call from the General Manager and was so simple to do. The General Manager, Matt Ashford was excellent. He was polite and agreed with me that I have the option to cancel. It is only for Matt Ashford, that when I’m ready to buy my Lexus GX550 I will visit Lexus of Arlington Heights. This time I will be armed with the CRV contract so that I don’t make the same mistakes. So simple. It was a link he sent me, and I just put in my info and it was done. I could have had a much better experience if Bujar wasn’t so greedy and if Nick the finance guy wasn’t his willing accomplice. So, my advice- Buyer Beware. When they bring out the paper with the add-ons. I called around other to other dealerships, and they have no dealer add-on’s unless you want them. There is no gps tracking device that they make you pay for, there is no ceramic coating unless you want it, and there is no $500 ProPack. They even offered to take $1000 off MSRP. But it’s too late for that. I already purchased the car from Schaumburg Honda. On the bright side- I have been asked to investigate leased vehicles for our company. Guess who lost out on the business of 8 additional cars? Way to go Bujar! Karma is good! 😊 G- More

My husband and I bought a brand new 2023 Honda Accord over the weekend and we absolutely love it!!! My salesman, Aarsh, was extremely professional and friendly, also curteous of our time crunch. I would over the weekend and we absolutely love it!!! My salesman, Aarsh, was extremely professional and friendly, also curteous of our time crunch. I would recommend him any day, as well as our finance manager, Bob, who made us feel comfortable during the signing process and gave a quick and detailed explanation of our contract. I look for specific qualities in dealerships when buying a car, and Schaumburg Honda surpassed my expectations. Thank you for a wonderful experience! More
