I'll get sleight to the point. 1/ I asked over the phone a service department about the price of oil change and break flush and it was rounding $270, 2/ I made an appointment an 1/ I asked over the phone a service department about the price of oil change and break flush and it was rounding $270, 2/ I made an appointment and when I dropped off the car I found out the price is $370 3/ I left the car for service(oil change & break fluid flush 9am) because I had a long trip coming up and I asked the service advisor to check two more issues. 4/ 2.30pm no updates & I left a voicemail to the service advisor to call me back at first convenience, an hr later no response and I called again to(main desk) find out my car is ready 5/ I'm meeting the service advisor and the service done is oil change, brake flush and sway bar link replacement(under warranty) , the last topic was my a/c/heating control was resetting itself while working and he out of the blue asked me to take a video of it. 6/ at the cashier I'm facing the service department supervisor and asked him why I was provided a different price over the phone and I got the lamest explanation" there is someone that does that and we are trying to find out who it is" My Conclusion: first and last time at Galpin motor ever. By the way Winn VW in woodland hills has a WAY better and honest service department, when my car is ready I get a text and a phone call and as soon as I get in my car at the dealer I receive a video file with the service performed on my car, so draw your own conclusions. More

They are in business of robbery. My first visit was when I planned to buy new ID.4 in oct 2021. They clearly asked $5k markup price just because they claim to have only two in stock in whole LA and 'self cl I planned to buy new ID.4 in oct 2021. They clearly asked $5k markup price just because they claim to have only two in stock in whole LA and 'self claimed' number one dealer in North America. I said 'No! thank you' and left that place. After 3 week got ID.4 at sticker price from other dealer at lax airport. Today I have to visit them because VW roadside assistance choose to get my flat tyre fixed by them. waited almost 4.5 hour for tow truck and finally decided to get my vehicle towed there at my own expanses. Biggest mistake I ever made. The service person was more interested selling me a new tyre. Started conversation asking if I bought tire hazard warranty or no. He don't even touched my old tyre which has 1856miles on it plus I have to wait until next day because it was 4'o clock and technician was about to leave. He said there is sidewall damage. Of course there was not even a single crack on sidewall. I immediately inflated my tyre with air pump that came with vehicle and left this highway robbery. Drove to 'Ram tyre co.' next to it and fixed my flat tyre there for $15 they even said tyre is absolutely fine. Drove almost 70 miles after fixed. Tyre is not losing single bit of air. Brace yourself and keep you and your family away from these robbers. Always take second opinion from someone else before getting it fixed here. Not honest dealer either in sales or service. Never visiting again at any cost. More

If I could give them a 0 start rating I would. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Took my car in for servicing and Aaron from the start did not address my concerns. He is the most incompetent, unprofessional advisor I have ever dealt with and looking at some of these reviews I see I'm not the only one who has experienced this. Their manager William and another rep made a very pitiful attempt to rectify the situation. I emailed them and returned their one phone call and have not heard from them since. COMPLETE GARBAGE. The service there was so BAD there, that the very next day after I retrieved my car I went and bought a new vehicle at Cerritos Infiniti. The customer service there was awesome and Joe the manager was the ultimate professional. Best car buying experience of my life and I have recommended friends and family to them since. If you are satisfied with CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PEOPLE WHO TREAT YOU AS JUST ANOTHER NUMBER PLEASE GO TO GALPIN VW. The service guy, Aaron H. was the worst. No follow-up calls/status of my car. Terrible service. Never called me to let me know how much repairs would be (I finally called him at 4:30). Told me he would talk to the mechanic first thing the next am....never called so I called him at 1:00. Said he’d go talk to the mechanic and call me right back. Never heard from him until Erick called me to tell me my car was ready at 3. then they wanted me to pay online since the Lyft driver was coming after 4 and they were closing. A real class act. Never again! More
