Five Star Ford responded

Unfortunately, human errors occur and that is exactly what occurred here. The Ford Explorer ST in question has been online since 10/17/21 at a price of $52,000. On Sunday, 10/24/21 to a price of $3,472 instead of the intended $51,000. We don't see how this happened, but it did. As soon as we became aware of the error on Monday morning the price was changed to $51,000 at 8:31 am. All of this information is available in our pricing software tool history page if you would like to see it. This is not a case of false advertising as any person shopping for a 2020 Ford Explorer ST would know that a price of $3,472 is not realistic based on market pricing as well as what would have been seen while shopping other pre-owned 2020 Explorers. We do have a disclaimer on our website that says “No claims, or warranties are made to guarantee the accuracy of vehicle pricing, payments or actual equipment. Call to confirm accuracy of any information”. When you called on Monday to inquire about the Explorer ST, we immediately told you of the error. This is in line with our disclaimer of a customer calling to confirm accuracy and we were upfront about the issue. We did not mislead you into thinking you could purchase the vehicle at that price. We do apologize for the error and work diligently to not have mistakes. There was no intent to deceive or mislead anyone with this mistake and we corrected it as soon as possible.
