All large dealerships are somewhat cumbersome, but working with Mel thru Internet sales makes the process almost enjoyable and definitely manageable. Mel was very upfront with all the cost involved i working with Mel thru Internet sales makes the process almost enjoyable and definitely manageable. Mel was very upfront with all the cost involved in purchasing my new truck. All expenses were itemized...state sales tax, dealer inventory tax, inspection and licensing fees as well as the document and dealer fees. It was a very professional and honest presentation. There were no sales gimmicks, dealer add-ons or pressure tactics used. I knew the price of the vehicle and all the associated cost prior to visiting the dealership and actually seeing the vehicle. Michael, the finance guy was knowledgeable, quick and efficient. He explained the benefits and value of an extended warranty, but there was no pressure sales pitch. The finance process only took fifteen minus due to the massive amount of required paperwork associated with a loan these days. Overall, I would highly recommend Mel Siebel and this dealership for a positive buying experience. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, give Mel a call or better yet, get on the Internet and have him price a vehicle from their inventory to you. They will be very competitive with any dealership in the DFW area and will be honorable with the transaction. More

Nel Seibel responded to my initial request to look at automobiles by telephone. I made an appointment with him, he set up a time to meet and while we were headed to Five Star Ford he took the cars we we automobiles by telephone. I made an appointment with him, he set up a time to meet and while we were headed to Five Star Ford he took the cars we were interested in out of the outdoor stock and had them at the showroom for our inspection on arrival. He was ready to give us a firm price for the cars as soon as we decided on the models that we were interested in. We took those prices home with us and spend the next day deciding on which model we wanted to purchase. We returned to Five Star Ford and selected the auto that we wanted and got a final price based on the after market items we wanted to include. The job of signing the paperwork and getting the car prepared for us to take with us was completed in a short time. Mel spent a considerable amount of time helping us with the details of operating the F150 we purchased. He went through the operation of the radio, the SYNC, the maintenance requirements and the fact that our first oil change would be charged only $9.80. He set up the SYNC system using our Iphone and we were ready to leave with our new vehicle. All in all the experience was pleasant. More

This is the first new car I have purch. in 35 years because car dealers are the worst people to try and deal with. They give you the run around. I came to 5 Star because of the way you took care of re because car dealers are the worst people to try and deal with. They give you the run around. I came to 5 Star because of the way you took care of repair of my truck and the great service I got. Mel made this sale the best experience I have had in buying a new car. I was talking to Doug Stanley and Grapevine Ford also but in the end Mel made the best offer and did not give me the run around. I donot put dealers name on my cars but in this case the name stays on and I will be more the happy to tell anyone that is looking for a car to visit 5 Star first as it will save them a lot of time. You even had better pricing than Car Max. The only thing I am not happy about is that you do not have a dealer ship in Cedar Hill. You need to ck it out as a lot of cars travel highway 67. Thanks for the best new car purch I have had. Paul Aruda More

The last time I bought a vehicle I had to sit at a table why some guy went with a piece of pa made it the best car buying experience I've ever had!! The last time I bought a vehicle I had to sit at a table why some guy went with a piece of paper to some mystic room no less than 6 times, each time leaving me at the table for 10-20 minutes. Not Mel. I gave him a price that I needed the dealership to beat, he gave me a quote. Thats it. No haggling. No frustration. Very considerate of your time and your budget. Not pushy by any means. I will definitely be sending my business to Mel from now on. More

We contacted 5 Star Ford over the internet, asking about used trucks. We also contacted several other dealers. We told them about our trade in and they wanted us to come in and get it evaluated. I was still used trucks. We also contacted several other dealers. We told them about our trade in and they wanted us to come in and get it evaluated. I was still searching for type of truck we wanted. I sent an email finally telling what price range, an items we were looking for. I thought it would take some time. I finally checked my emails. Melvin let us know about $10000.00 worth of incentives on buying a new truck. So when none of the other dealers had offered anything but just to call we called Melting at 5 Star Ford. We set a time to come in that afternoon. We were not kept waiting even though it was very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Melvin worked with us until we found the truck we wanted. It had so much more than we had expected. Everyone treated us so well. More

Overall a pleasant experience, vehicle and deal were as advertised, in and out in a timely fashion. Melvin was professional, knowledgable, courteous and a fine representative of your dealership. I wa advertised, in and out in a timely fashion. Melvin was professional, knowledgable, courteous and a fine representative of your dealership. I was raised in a family of car salesmen, my fishing buddy is a finance manager and my father is a retired dealership general manager. With that being said I enjoyed my experience with Five Star Ford. It was definately worth the drive from Baton Rouge, La. Thanks for everything Kelly D. Wright Jr. More
