Getting service done was a pain, seems there’s a disconnect between service advisors and the mechanics. Leading to little to no communication from the service advisor to the customer. Took a week to get diagnosed, then after it was diagnosed there was a time frame given to me for when the part would arrive and the work would be done. After it didn’t get done I ended up buying the part and doing it myself in less than an hour. Paid hefty diagnostic fee for me to end up doing the work myself and be without my vehicle for over a week. I had to initiate every communication for an update on my vehicle and every update was inaccurate. Very frustrating experience.

I didn't like the lack of continuity in my dealings with CarMax. I talked to sales staff from Baton rouge to Kansas City to Chicago to Lubbock. There seemed to be little communication between the staff because I was asked several times if we still wanted to purchase the car when we already had an appointment for the next day to close on the sale. I really feel that it would be better if I dealt with one sales person locally. Thank you for your time and attention.

Best dealership experience we’ve had in a while. Sent my wife to check out a Powerstroke, and she didn’t like it. She found the Duramax of her dreams…. Can’t speak enough about how helpful Dakota was in the process. They made a good deal with us, and we took the truck home. I’ve been buying cars on average of 2 a year for the last 20 years…. Do the math, whatever Smith is doing right now- keep it up!! Although it’s creepy as xxxx that cars.com knew we made a deal…. Smdh….technology can be a bit nosey

It actually took me a few months to figure out the vehicle that I wanted and to get everything together. I worked with the same sales person who was very understanding and went along with all of my detours. He helped me find a truck that I am very happy with that I probably would not have picked out to start with. The only reason I didn't give five stars was that there wasn't much selection at the time that I visited in used trucks. It was the best experience I have had with buying a vehicle.
