Ordered a new Lincoln more than five months ago. - phoebert2014

Ordered a new Lincoln more than five months ago. I have been unable to obtain even a status regarding future delivery of said vehicle. The car is not even scheduled to be built and Long-Lewis continues to hold my deposit.

All of the people I dealt with were not only friendly, but knew the automobiles well. I know I walked out with an exceptionally fair price. I am a repeat customer and will use them again if and when I would like a new or preowned vehicle.

We financed a truck at this dealership and traded in our - Kathryn Bryant

We financed a truck at this dealership and traded in our previous truck. We assumed, like every other dealership would typically do, that the dealership would quickly pay off the loan on our trade-in vehicle. Unfortunately, it has now been over a month later and the dealership refuses to pay it off. As a result, we have been forced to make payments on both our new truck and the truck we no longer own. ***Despite multiple calls made to the finance manager and the dealership manager, we are now facing a second month of double payments because the dealership continues to avoid paying off the loan.*** To make matters worse, the finance manager advised us NOT to make the monthly payment on the traded-in vehicle, and that if it negatively affected our credit, "our score should come back up once the vehicle is actually paid off". We then spoke to the bank, who stated not only would it negatively affect our credit, but the reimbursement would not include the interest paid as part of the vehicle payments. Ultimately, we are forced to pay the payments and lose the interest money because of the dealership's failure to come through. My husband and I have purchased well over a dozen vehicles from other dealerships over the years and have never encountered this problem. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to trade in and/or finance a vehicle should avoid this dealership and their shady business practices.

I am at a just looking stage right now. The man who called me was named Will and was very helpful. I am an older widow woman who's car bit the dust and the mechanic said it would cost more to repair than it is worth. So I have no trade-in and am saving money to buy a good used car. I am on a fixed income and it will take a couple of months to get up the cash. My credit is very poor (549) due to my late Husband's medical bills, I paid them and lived off credit cards for over 3 years, then when he passed I tried to pay things off but it was at the point of paying those bills, or eating and keeping my home which is paid for. I had to make a choice. I have been paying on his bills when I have extra money, but things are tight.
