Honest, straight forward, no- games. Purchased a new, 2026 Subaru Outback Touring XT from Van York Subaru of Asheboro, N.C. after my extensive vehicle search to update my 2022 Honda Passport Elite. I loved my Honda Passport but mileage dictated it was the optimum time to upgrade. I explored Honda, Toyota, and Subaru vehicles with a top priority on crash survivability and best safety monitoring of other vehicles. My next priority was "total cost" including repair history and maintenance cost and resale value. I was surprised to discover the Outback Touring had a superior comfort and ride than my Passport Elite, previously held my highest rating of quality and ride. Finally, Steven Snipes' provided an honest "no-pressure to buy" experience with information on the Subaru vehicles that fit my search criteria. He never criticized competitors or the other vehicles I was exploring. Stephen did not "play games" by pricing high with add-on extras (overpriced coatings or admin charges). He provided me the best price of all Subaru dealers within a 2 hour driving distance up front, I do not like/trust dealers that price high then start dropping when others offer a lower price. The final meeting with the finance manager did not try to sell add-ons after I had accepted their "out the door" price (such as 3rd party insurance after the manufacturing warranty ends, that can be purchased at a better price near the end of warranty from Subaru).

Very helpful and courteous during our buying process. Got a much better deal on our Forester Hybrid by driving to Burlington after getting a very overpriced quote from a local dealer.

These are things that are hard to find in automotive retail today in this country. You are lucky if you get one or two of these things in my list at any dealership. If you get three your treatment is above average. However, today, both Noa and Dennis of Subaru Concord showed me all six. You can add fair pricing and the experience was complete. Me being impressed barely begins to described how positive I am today with the actions towards me today at Subaru Concord. Where has this treatment been all my life?
