Sales Manager Lamore Merchant was the best! Aside from being a lovely person, he did everything he could to meet my needs price-wise, resulting in me buying a car from this dealership. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. Answered all my questions and explained what I needed to know. Allowed me to leave a deposit and come back the next day for another test drive. The only negative about the process was the extremely long wait time for all aspects of the transaction to happen. Perhaps this was because I was there on the last day of the month and it was very busy. Otherwise......I was very pleased.

We purchased our car there . Before the 1st extended warranty for peeling paint was issued our car was peeling on the roof / hood . They were honorable and repaired the peeling areas . After the 1st extended warranty came out and expired our paint started to peel everywhere else on the car . When the 2nd peeling paint warranty extension was issued I contacted Rockland. I was told they're trying to negotiate with body shops to do the work but they had no idea how long that would take . They said they would notify me as soon as they get a body shop . That was 6 weeks ago .We haven't heard back from Rockland yet. Either they didn't get a body shop or maybe don't want to be responsible for their company's faulty paint ? It's very disappointing the customers have to call multiple dealerships to correct this problem while many of them seem to have excuses why they can't repair it .

Jimmy D was great, he answered our questions and never made me feel pressured. After the used vehicle I was there to see came out to be out of budget Jimmy helped me find something within my range and, admittedly, a better fit for my needs! Absolute pleasure and will gladly recommend anyone going by and talking to the team in Mahwah if you are looking at Hyundais! Thank you for getting me in a vehicle of the same Decade I am living in!

I had a very disappointing experience with Maxon Hyundai regarding both my Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle and the financing process. The car had serious brake issues with 18,000 miles—suggesting it didn’t truly undergo the promised 150-point inspection. The dealership resurfaced the warped rotors instead of replacing them, which is unacceptable for a CPO vehicle. I also received only one key and had to go through a frustrating process to get the second, with poor communication throughout. Financing was another issue—what was agreed upon (5.99% for 60 months with $4,000 down) was not what appeared in the final paperwork, and I regret trusting the dealership to honor our agreement. On top of that, I was given misleading info about needing to wait three months for a payoff letter, which turned out to be false. I can’t help but feel this advice was financially motivated, not in my best interest. Overall, I question the integrity of this dealership and would not recommend buying a CPO vehicle or financing through them. Still waiting for a resolution and it has been over a month since my purchase. My temp plates expired and still have not received registration.
