Do not trust Ed Koehler Chevrolet! - Stephengentz

Do not trust Ed Koehler Chevrolet! They swap used cars between their dealerships to hide the fact that they have been in accidents and have had work done. My sales guy, Grant Boven, assured me that no powertrain work had been done by Ed Koehler on the vehicle I was purchasing. However, I later discovered that their Greenville location had performed extensive transmission work. A local shop informed me that my transmission looked new but poorly done, with bolts missing. When I confronted Ed Koehler Chevrolet, they admitted that their Greenville location had worked on the transmission. They took the car in for repair, but after weeks without it, a transmission mount bolt fell out just days after I got it back. When I returned to Ed Koehler Chevrolet, they told me it was my problem and refused to do anything further to fix it. This is the first time I’ve ever left a negative review for a company, but this experience was unacceptable.

Full of lies. First my oil change emptied half or more of the oil on my new concrete when I returned home, then they told me the oil filter gasket was bad..funny there was no oil on the filter. Oil leak was on opposite side. An employee promised to come and clean the concrete today..the day is half over,not a word. They won't see me again.

I just bought a car from Graff here in Mount Pleasant. Two and a half months later my engine light went on and I went into the store and spoke to Shane. He was very helpful and told me he would WAIVE the diagnostics charge of $150. So I took it in the next morning and the lady I spoke with told me that they have a charge for the diagnostics. I told her that Shane said that they would waive that fee so she, very rudely looked at me and said I hardly think so. So she called Shane and he said he never said that. Apparently what he said was that he would "scan" it for free. That I can do at the auto parts store. I will never buy another car from ANY of the Graff locations. This is completely unprofessional. I understand that it's under no warranty but literally I bought this two and a half months ago.

Was told they stilled had a vehicle that was listed online when I called, traveled 2 hours there to be told that it was on hold the whole time, however, that the supposed buyer had yet shown up or even test drove it! Thanks for having me drive 2 hours there steve when I could have used that 4 hours going to a dealer that actually had one for sale. Wasted a vacation day from work for this!

During the course of my purchase experience, we ran into some issues that can mostly be chalked up to coronavirus related. At one point there was a breakdown in communication and I almost walked away and bought my truck from a different manufacturer or dealership; however, Bob went above and beyond my expectations to make it right. Both he and Paul were at the dealership for about two hours after they closed figuring things out so I can get the truck on time. It also took longer for the paperwork to be completed than I was expecting; however, I believe this is mostly due to most places (secritary of state and banks) either not being open or working from home. After all things considered, I have been satisfied with the service from the sales dept.

From selecting options to giving me suggestions he never lost his patience. I flew in and they sent a car to pick me up! Full tank of gas and on my way in less than 30 minutes! DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!! My husband and I bought a Tahoe not very long ago and it’s been a headache since! It started with us having to put new tires on it less than a month after buying it because the belts were broken in the tires and the front tires kept going soft. Then the front rotors got warped even though we hadn’t hauled a trailer or even got the brakes hot. We decided to replace the front brakes to see if that helped. After doing that the front brakes were still locking up, now smoking and the dash lights were coming on! We took it in to a local garage to get their opinion on it to find out there was contamination in the brake system. I called McGuire’s and they demanded we have it towed to them for their garage people to look at. After having it towed to them and going over our warranty we purchased through them they said it was on us, even though the warranty we bought would cover it, they had found a way not to cover it. They said it was OUR doings and we put something in the brake system that we shouldn’t have. We have not put any fluid in this vehicle and haven’t even put enough miles on it to need an oil change yet. So the warranty would not cover the expenses to repair this vehicle because THEY said we did it. The owner TOM laughed at us and talked down to us even though he said he knew NOTHING about brake systems. We were told different things by several staff members there regarding every aspect of this vehicle and how it was handled. Right down to if it had an oil change or even if it was serviced before we purchased it or not. These people are crooks and very untrustworthy. Not professional at all! I only gave a star because it did not give me the option to not put any. I have towed my Tahoe out of there and cancelled the warranty. I will not do business with them again and wouldn’t even take my bike up there for them to work on! The warranty would have covered it, but they found a way out of it. They wouldn’t even help with the tow bill to get it there, after they demanded we take it to them!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!
