I usually hate buying vehicles but I had a great experience buying a truck at Darcars of College Park. It was a bit of a drive for me but it turned out to be the best vehicle purchasing experience I have ever had. Kimberly was my salesperson, and she did a fantastic job. She communicated with me throughout the process, from the time I inquired about the truck until after I had purchased it. She sent me pictures, video, and several emails before I ever met her. Once I got to the dealership, she made me feel welcome and made sure I was comfortable. Mike, her manager, answered questions for me about the truck and was very knowledgeable about the truck. Alex took great care of me in the finance process. He didn't pressure me into buying anything I didn't need and made sure I got the best deal possible with protection plans and finance rate. I will definitely come back to Darcars of College Park when my wife is ready to buy a vehicle. Thanks to everyone for a great experience! I've purchased two Nissan trucks from Hamilton over many years and am very satisfied with my buying and service experiences. Will Swartz sold me the 2017 Nissan Titan I currently own and Karl Collum is my service manager. Both are extremely professional and highly competent. Will was extremely knowledgable about the vehicle and very thorough in answering all my questions as I considered it's purchase. Karl recently helped me navigate a repair to the ignition switch interlock. Although the repair didn't work the first time, Karl fit me in the very next day and had the repair done correctly. Even though I had to wait two hours for the repair, there were no additional costs to me. I travel 26 miles to have my truck maintained and serviced at Hamilton Hagerstown. To me, the reliability and concierge service they provide are worth it. Even though I am dissapointed Nissan discontinued the Titan, I will buy my next Nissan from Hamilton.

THE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! They didn't listen to any of my concerns. They let me drive a car that almost killed us. Then all they could say was "we didn't do anything wrong." I have owned/leased nissan for 6 years and I have never seen such crappy service. Now it's time to turn in my nissan and I couldn't be happier, this dealership's irresponsibility and lack of professionalism is so bad that I don't ever want to deal with such garbage again. STAY AWAY. TRUST ME.

TERRIBLE Service / Parts Dept. (Timonium Road) - Mickey Mouse

Yesterday, I went into Nationwide Nissan Service Dept. to request a broken plastic clip part for the driver side molding on my car. Ryan looked at the car and stated that he would order two plastic clips for $10.00. Upon picking up the clips today, he ordered two weather stripping clips which I never requested BUT he said they were missing and costs another $10.00. I noticed the clips for the molding were smaller than a dime , even a chimpanzee xxxxxx could clearly see the plastic clips are the size of a quarter. After requesting a full refund from the woman at the front desk she took the clips and disappeared into the smokey back room for 15 minutes. Upon her return, she asked another woman at the front desk to give me the $20.87 back in CASH which I had paid for the day before. They ARGUED about whether this would mess up the accounting books across the street and that she could not give me cash back for anything purchased over $20.00. REALLY?!! After being thoroughly disgusted with the LACK of QUALITY customer service, I went down the street to Kelly Body Shop who called Nationwide Nissan to see if they could get the plastic clips. They called and were told by Nationwide Nissan Parts Dept., that the clips for that part could NOT be PURCHASED and that I would have to buy a NEW Chrome MOLDING piece for $220.00. I said NO, I'm not doing that. Kelly's Body Shop told me to go online and purchase the plastic clips from Clips and Fasteners .com and that they would fix the molding for FREE, NOW that's Customer Service!! Clearly, I was LIED to and misled by Nationwide Nissan Parts Dept. into purchasing the clips that were NOT even available to be purchased and was forced to listen to a ridiculous argument between two employees to an absurd degree JUST to get my $20.87 cash back. UNBELIEVABLE!! I will NEVER RETURN to that disorganization and chaos EVER AGAIN!!

Service department is absolutely unreliable. Had an appointment for a 3 hour procedure on a recall, I gave them five hours to do the job and they couldn't get it done on time. Took the day off to get this done and they couldn't accommodate my schedule so I'm forced to go to a different dealership. If you have to use their service department, make sure you have a full day to waste.

Well here we go again... did NOT want to go there for anything but I had to on 3-11-2024. My wheel lug lock disappeared and I had no other way to get them removed. So I called their parts dept. who told me they had them and the 4 lugs would be $40 (Ebay sells 24 of them OEM for under $25) but I agreed to bring it in. Having had terrible problems in the past with them calling me I gave them a number I can delete which I never used there before. After they finally got the lugs on (over an hour and charging $71.55) I was about to leave and thought maybe I should have a closer look at them. I don't know where these lugs came from but they were not OEM ones like the ones already on the vehicle, but rather than deal with them any more I left figuring I'd just get some on Ebay and replace them. Then on 3-14 around 9:20 my phone rang, there was nothing but a number on caller ID. (NOTE: This was my old number NOT the one I recently used) I answered and the person identified themselves (didn't get to write the name down) as someone with Pohanka Nissan. Before they got to say much I asked why they were calling. They didn't answer but kept talking so I asked again "why are you calling me?" and then the guy said something like "OK nevermind" and hung up. xxx kind of customer service is this? Tried several times to call the number back but every time got a message that voicemail was not set up. I finally spoke to a manager but have little faith they will do what they say. 1. I demanded in the past that they completely remove me from their database, which apparently they did not do. 2. Their "customer disservice" person who called would not say why they were calling and rudely hung up. 3. The replacement of lugs was not what it should have been (NOT OEM!!), took over an hour and cost me $71.55. I can't say enough negative things about this outfit, it makes me want to stay far away from anything Nissan. I have complained directly to Nissan before about this terrible dump. This place is run by clueless bullies.They harassed my 18 year old son, called the cops on him for opening the door and checking out the inside one of their unlocked used vehicles during normal business hours. I believe they picked on him because he looks young and they thought he wasn't a potential buyer. They lost a potential sale, we bought a car elsewhere.

They didn’t have exactly what I wanted on the lot, but Greg Shumaker was very receptive to my family’s needs and ambitious in finding the exact Pathfinder quickly! My wife bought her 2 Nissan Altima with him and she’s not one that’s easy to mess with when it comes to buying a car, but he made everything smooth and she was able to walk out the door with her second car from them. Jeremiah in finance was great as well even though he chose Cal Ripken over Ken Griffey jr lol. No serious both were very awesome to work with and I know all of our future vehicles will be bought through them.

I purchased a used 2007 Nissan Maxima from this dealership. The sales guy was nice however, the business practices of this dealership is the worst. I traded in a Infiniti G35 when I bought the maxima. Thirty days later the G35 was still not paid off by the dealership eventhough I called them about 3 weeks later because the finance company on the G35 kept calling me about a payment. After several phone calls to RStempler for them to send the payoff to finance company, they finally sent the payment. Well, 10 days later I get a call about being behind 2 car payments on the G35 because the check that RStempler sent had bounced. How in the world does a nationwide dealership bounce a check. There irresponsibility has now caused my credit to be damaged because they didn't pay for the trade in. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone especially if you are trading in a car. It has been a month and a half and my trade in still isn't paid off.
