I would not recommend Motor Sportsland to anyone looking - mrob.harrison
I would not recommend Motor Sportsland to anyone looking for a trailer. This 2 star review come from my overall experience with the whole team at the Millcreek location, although I don't even want to give them more than 1 star.
If I were to rate the finance team (5 stars) they were very quick and easy to work with. If it weren't for them, this would likely be a 1 star review.
The salesman (2 stars) I worked with was great until after the deal was made and contract was signed. I had questions about a brochure I was given that stated all the standard features on the trailer I bought, but I didn't physically notice one when I saw the trailer, so I asked him to check. I reached out twice before getting a response. Instead of walking out and checking the trailer, he blindly gave me a yes answer. The next week picking up the trailer, I asked where the feature was to find out it doesn't come on the newer '23 model, which is exactly why I questioned it.
The real kicker was the detail team (1 star). If it wasn't for Andrew (who I found out no longer works there) helping me out, I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I bought my trailer and specifically asked that the roof rack be touched up and the rust stains cleaned up. There were a few rusted spots on the rack that caused some staining on the roof of the trailer. For a brand new trailer, I shouldn't have to ask that, but wanted to be sure it was taken care of. After 7 days to prepare and clean my trailer I went to pick it up. First, got told my trailer doesn't come with something I was promised, then found out they had not done anything to clean or touch up the rust problems on my brand new '23 trailer. The supervisor of the team wouldn't even get up to join the conversation when the question came up, just sat in his office on the other side of the shop/trailer and yelled out "My bad. I haven't asked anyone to do that yet." He had 7 days to prep my trailer for pickup, and I had to postpone pickup until that afternoon to give them even more time. I called around the new pickup time to confirm everything had been done, and was told it's out back and ready for me. I get there and still see multiple visible rust spots. I voiced my concerns to the salesman again, who pretty much told me that's going to happen and gave me a can of spray paint to fix it all myself.
Had a terrible experience, and never plan to go back. Even after a few days, I was still so irritated that I decided reached out to the manager so he could address the issues with his team. Here we are, almost 2 months later and I still haven't heard a word. No apology or anything. They do great acting like they care, until you sign the contract. From my experience, the manager doesn't care and that has trickled down to many others on the staff.
Long review, but if you read this all, save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. Somewhere that gives you everything you're promised, and somewhere that takes the time to clean the trailers they sell.
