I have had many amazing experiences there. Besides other members of my family, I have personally purchased 5 cars from them! Jason Shipley (sales manager) is my car guy. He is always transparent and thorough with trade numbers, payments, and figures. When I go into Young Dodge in Layton, I’m in and out of there in an hour or less. If you want an amazing experience, with a friendly staff that goes the extra mile, I highly recommend buying from Young.

I would never buy an extended warranty and I would never shop at Larry h. Miller bountiful. Two experiences: It cost $900 to replace a tail light on my ram truck. Not included in warranty. I had an electrical problem that was covered by warranty but it took over two weeks before the warrantor would even agree to ship the parts. I get cold sweats just thinking about going to their service.

EDIT: SINCE MY REVIEW THINGS HAVE CHANGED. DOUG SMITH STEPPED UP AND REALLY HELPED US RESOLVE THE SITUATION WITH THE CITATION. OUR SALESMAN DAVE HAS FOLLOWED UP TO ENSURE THAT WE WERE HAPPY AND EVERTHING WAS RESOLVED. WE REALLY APPRECIATE THEM HELPING US. In December 2024, we went looking at Subaru's. In the middle of test driving different cars our salesmen left us to help another couple. Waited for over half hour, never saw him again. So, we walked over to the Dodge side and decided on a car. Our salesman Dave was awesome. Traded in our car and went on our way. This week I got a citation from a town 100 miles away. Because they sent our trade in to auction and our name hasnt been taken off the VIN. Now I have been dealing with cops and the state, which Doug Smith should of done. What did Doug Smith say OOPS.

Mike, who was the Service Mgr on a Saturday morning, got me in without an appointment and fixed it while I watched. No charge and I was back on the road within minutes. No charge. I overheard the salesman say that the Camry would have gone to auction if I hadn't bought it, that would have been a good place for it. I'd like to ask Stephen Wade or his sales manager what if this was done to your mother or father? How angry would you be! Your offer of settlement over the mats, alarm and key fob is insulting , you should have told me there was only one $420 key fob with the car (a deal breaker), you should have told me that there was an aftermarket alarm on the car that needs to be repaired or taken out, your 100 point inspection didn't catch this? You said you allow your cars to be taken to a mechanic, you wouldn't let me take the car to our church mechanic would you. He said he never would have let me buy this car. My plan for 2025 is to send out at least 250 emails and letters to Government agencies, consumer groups, Toyota chat rooms, Toyota Corporate, Facebook, X, TikTok, all of the review pages and media groups that I can find.. These will go to Salt Lake City, Provo and St. George UT. Mesquite and Las Vegas NV. As will my origanal letter.

I am in California and was looking to purchase a car out of state since there were none available locally with the features I wanted. My car shopping experience last month with a few dealerships was very frustrating. They simply could not comprehend the concept of an out-of-state purchase which in itself is confusing since the online car sites have a 'nationwide' search option; virtual buying. However, once I connected with Erin at Stephen Wade she did not miss a step. She understood exactly how it worked, was very accommodating and she knocked out this deal in short order. She wasn't just a sales rep instead she provided concierge-type services! A very satisfying purchasing experience!

I have dealt with a lot of auto dealerships over the last 50 years and yesterday we purchased a new Jeep Gladiator from Matthew at Doug Smith Jeep in Spanish Fork, UT. I cannot say enough positive things about working with them. They were up front and honest from start to finish, their deep discounted advertised price did not require any pre-qualification/s and no games at all. I would also give them an A+ on trade-in value. Since Covid finding dealers like this is almost impossible anymore.

We have been here now a few times. One of those times I had asked the man behind the counter about the specs on my truck because I was thinking about getting a camper. Well he told me to Google it and he said that my 2019 RAM 3500 long bed could only hold 2000 pounds. He was so wrong and rude. Oh yes and we spent over 1000 dollars that day and were planning to return to get tires another 1236 dollars. Well we scheduled the appointment and were told an hour and half. Which we were ok with because we would still have time to get to our next appointment. Lol sarcasticly!! They took 2 and half hours and every time anyone there spoke to us it was a lie. Then I complained and was told I would get a discount. Lol sarcasticly!! No he said I got one but it was exactly the same amount he gave me when I set up the appointment. Another lie.. Oh yes and who ever was behind the parts counter sure had a dirty word or two to say after each call he got off of. We can even talk about the sales staff screaming across the lobby. Yes we have spent almost 6 hours there. I wish Karl would check out his name sake.
