I was communicating with them about purchasing a used - Arlen.herrell
I was communicating with them about purchasing a used Tesla. Although I supplied them with my email and asked that we continue to communicate via email, the dealer kept sending me texts (this is important later). I let them know that I was already pre-qualified at more than one institution, but that I wanted to use my Credit Union (CU). They pressed me to use their financing. They then claimed that they usually did not like CUs because of some payment issue they had in the past. I was told that the only way they would accept working with a CU is if they were willing to either wire the funds or do a cashiers check, all the while pressuring me more to use Post Oak Motor Cars' financing. I connected them with my CU, via email, which put in writing that they would supply a Letter of Credit AND have a check mailed overnight to the dealership. This was on Friday afternoon. The dealer did not respond to the email all weekend, and then sent me a TEXT this morning (Monday) claiming, " Good Morning. Per your bank they not paying with direct wire or cashiers check. Per my Boss it is sold." Again, my CU stated in writing (email) that a check could be sent. The car is also still listed for sale on their website. I am highly disappointed in the service I received and how I have been treated as a customer. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
