Joseph Kim not only sold me one car he sold me two within two months! He was the epitome of stellar customer service. The time from looking online to buying a car was less than one week. When I drove up he had my new car pulled up to the front with a VIP tag with my name on it. He was a class act all the way around. Not to mention the facilities were impeccable. I did not have to buy my cars as I paid cash for them but even the lady in financing who did all my paperwork was very professional. Joseph introduced me to multiple people at Porsche who I might interact with in the future.

I had the pleasure to deal with Porsche Specialist Sean Shields. My entire deal was done online. I live in Florida and did not have time to travel to Texas. Sean was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, and offered excellent advice. An issue came up on my trade in CarFax report. Sean was able to give me some advice to navigate around it. My dream Porsche 911 became a reality thanks to Sean’s hard work. A few days later, I received my 911. It was everything that was promised and described. Best experience I’ve ever had. Was immediately greeted with smiles upon entering. Brittany Rubio was kind, caring, patient, knowledgeable and empathetic though out the whole sales portion. After purchasing the vehicle the help I have received from Jared Johnson, Cassandra and Jorge in services has been outstanding. They have helped in any way they can. The customer’s satisfaction is really at the forefront of this CarMax West location. Many thanks to all there. 10 out of 10 would recommend every time.

They definitely seem to prefer white clients over anyone else. There were 4-5 people who saw me walk in for my service appointment but didn’t even acknowledge my presence. The receptionist was impolite & looked annoyed that I was speaking to her, while another employee was down right condescending. Thankfully the service rep was decent and got me taken care of. I am looking to trade-in for a newer model but I refuse to be treated like a second class citizen. So if you’re white, you’ll likely be fine. Though you probably ought to read all the other reviews on this place. If you are among the nearly 75% of the people of color who reside in San Antonio, be prepared for racism & poor treatment.
