My experience has been horrendous. - Mkay.renea
My experience has been horrendous.
It all stated on June 1st. I dropped my car off for a "Service B" as well as the battery wasn't holding a charge, I also asked about getting my cup holders, as well as my buttons fixed. I was told, "no problem".
Ok, on June 6th, I received a text stating my car is all done and ready for pickup. Go to pick it up, pay $3,513.66. And get in my car just to see that the buttons were still chipped and all the cup holders still not fixed.
Later on that afternoon I received a text stating I may get a survey about my experience and if it's anything less than 5 stars, please let you all know. So, I responded that the only issue I have was that I spoke with 2 different employees requesting my buttons and cup holders be fixed and was assured they would be, only for them to not be. Then, you all apologized that it was missed and offered to help and I wouldn't be charged for the labor, I'd just have to pay for the parts. I agreed unknowingly it was going to get worse...
I was told to send pictures of the cup holders as well as the chipped buttons I wanted fixed. I sent (4) pictures of the 1 picture of the chipped buttons on the drivers door as well as 1 picture of the chipped button on the passengers door, I also sent pictures of 3 cup holders that will not hold beverages at all. (One single cup holder and one double cup holder.) I'm then told you they will let me know when the parts arrive. Remember this is all on June 6th.
Ok, so, fast forward to June 12th, I get a text stating the parts are 2 days out.
Then it’s June 19th and I hadn't heard anything else about the parts so I reached out and asked if there is any update on the parts and how much everything will be. I get a text back stating she will get an update for me and that she is indeed taking care of the labor and she'll provide pricing once she gets an update.
Later that day I got a text saying,
"one part came in and one part is still on the way, getting prices for you now."
"$308 for all parts."
Ok, well fast forward to June 27th, I finally received a text stating my last part arrived. I'm then told I cannot drop it off to get fixed due to a loaner not being available until the following week. Ok, that's fine.
I then drop it off July 10th for it to get the chipped buttons and cup holders fixed. I got a call on July 11th stating it's a different part needed other than the one that they ordered for it. And that it'll be more than what I was originally told. I asked for the price and was told "$555." And that the parts would arrive in 2 days at the LONGEST. So, July 12th I told them to just go ahead and fix it.
I finally got a text on July 18th stating my car will be ready around 4pm for pickup. I advised them I'm working until 7pm but will be there in the morning to pick it up.
So on July 19th I go pickup my car and pay $906.18. So that's red flag number one, what happened to "$555"?!
Ok, get in my car - buttons look good on the drivers side but look over on the passengers side and the buttons haven’t been touched, still chipped! ANDDDD only ONE cup holder (single cup holder) out of the THREE that I asked them to fix are actually fixed!!!
Then as I'm looking at the itemized receipt which I had to ask for, because it wasn’t given to me. I see I'm charged $301.35 for labor as well as not even fixing what was supposed to get fixed??!!
And thennn when I ask the lady about the labor charge she tries to say I was only charged $198 for labor and the $301.35 was for the part. As I'm looking at it clearly state I paid $301.35 in labor. But I guess she thinks since she wrote out beside it "part" and "labor" I wouldn't pay attention to the bottom where it literally states the labor charge.
I'm being robbed!! You all are charging for services you all did not provide. As well as not standing by your word.
Please always ask for an itemized receipt and double check everything!!!
