Called on a Saturday morning about a used car listed for - DB

Called on a Saturday morning about a used car listed for sale. Was told that the salesman had taken the vehicle with him and would be back with it on Monday. I told them I would be there at 9:00 am when they opened but was told to call first to make sure what time he would be in. Called back shortly after that on Saturday to ask if they would assure that I would get first opportunity to view. Was told by the owner that I would. Called Monday morning at 9:00 and was told they would call me back when they heard from salesman. They did call back about 9:20 to say that salesman was there, and he had let another person test drive. Again, they assured me that I would get first chance at the car. I had told them I was an hour away and would leave immediately. 40 minutes into my drive they called and informed me that they just sold the car. Obviously, they are not trustworthy and honest in dealing with potential customers. Disappointing for a family run business.

I buy my cars here and have for 20+ years. Their deals are so good my sister (South Orange, New jersey) buys her cars exclusively from here. I would buy any make or model Steve sells because he will stand behind it. They care about the customers and consequently, they have LOTS of return business. There is no pressure to buy, just honest straight forward deals.

Amazing Experience with Suburb Staff - NealFamily

My family and I had an amazing experience at this location. Our sales representative, Terry, was not only accommodating but also understanding of our financial situation. Terry went above and beyond when financing our vehicle. He tried multiple financial institutions, and he advocated for our case. Finally, after his hard work and dedication to our financing, Terry supported us in driving home a 2015 Kia Optima with only 51,000 miles and a clean title history. Additionally, we had a trade-in that was not running, and Terry stayed late on a Saturday to tow the vehicle, designate a loner vehicle, and secure an appointment for early the following week. This dealership is family focused, and truly dedicated to customer service. Thank you to World Auto Net and especially Terry for such a positive experience! The Neal Family

No response. They were contacted but the message was never returned. Why advertise if contacts are ignored?

I feel I got bait and switched. - drthnelson8

I feel I got bait and switched. I inquired on 1 car and asked for videos of the car. Got videos asked if it had heated seats and said, "Yes, fully- loaded." Nothing else was said that the car I inquired on had been sold, and this car was a plain jane model. They ship it to me, I start looking at the car, and it's not fully loaded. No heated seats, not powered seats, manual everything. I had 2 things that were a must heated seats and 2nd row bench. I sent an email to them about this when I got the car. Monday, I get you well, get you heated seats, remote start, fix the heater, and detail the car because it was gross on the inside. I have emails, phone calls, and text messages saying that we can rewind the car deal. Then the owner says no way, your car is ours, and I'm in breach of contract, and he'll reach out to law enforcement. I give them my trade-in because they said they would do all the things we discussed. Now I get we will look into this. Wow, this is a dealership I'd run from.

Sales Representative (Tom Cox) sold us a demo and assured us 5 times before we purchased the car that it had a six disc cd player. Mr. Cox had been the diver of this "demo" car for 6 months so we trusted his word about the features of this car. After repeated calls to him about it not having the cd player he told us he made a mistake but assured us that he would have one installed at no cost to us. After three weeks of trying to get this completed he finally told us he would not install the cd player. This dealership now states that they told us ahead of time that it did not have this feature, A COMPLETE LIE!!! They have never called to see about our satisfaction with the car, they do not return calls, they lied about the features of the car, made promises and then broke the promises. When questioned by their corporate office about our claims, they lied!! I have never dealt with such an unethical and untrustworthy group of individuals. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this dealership!!!!

I no longer look to a dealership for a cargo van due to - matt

I no longer look to a dealership for a cargo van due to their over inflated prices and concerned more about your trade in if you have one. Tom showed me around the lot looking at several options and did not pressure me to buy a van I was not interested in. I hope he continues to stay in contact with me until we find the right fit. Low mile cargo van under $25k with less than 30k miles.

While at first, they seemed very honest, upstanding and friendly, they are truly one of those places that just want to get a sale. Once you've signed the papers, that's all you get. In addition, they sold me a lemon of a car that died the second day we owned it! Replaced the starter only to have it die again 6 days later with more serious problems. I seriously hope that what goes around comes around, because they KNEW what kind of car they were selling me (for a young person learning to drive, no less) and they seemed to be able to sell it without any bad feelings or upset. I will never go back and I suggest you never try them.

Everyone was really friendly. - kaceylovesjoyalot

Everyone was really friendly. They worked with me to get a payment I could afford. If I didn’t understand something, they were more than happy to explain it so I did understand. They seemed very knowledgeable about the cars they were selling. I would go back to them to buy another car. I highly recommend going here for a car. The quality of the car is amazing. The prices are more than what I’m used to paying but I did get a better car than I have ever gotten before

Highly Recommended... !! - REDLEG

Great used car buying experience..! Bill Dovell has been dealing with Mercedes (only) parts, service and sales for years. He is a down-to-earth proprietor where what you see is what you get. He has access to clean low mileage lease returns and sells them at prices below the big dealers. This was our first Mercedes purchase; we have every intention of working with him on our next purchase. Highly recommended! JTG JR.

I first met Sam a couple of years ago, I was delivering a shipment to him. We spoke for awhile and I was impressed by his knowledge and personality. I too work on cars but as a hobby. I never saw him again till I bought another car. A Triumph Spitfire. It's a British car and I was looking for some parts and advice. British cars have a different type of carburetor than the American cars I worked on. I wasn't having any luck with parts locally. That brought me to the internet and a Google search. Guess who's name came up? I remembered him right away. The first time I was there the lot was full of cars from MG's to a couple of Rolls Royce's. If they would trust those cars to him I felt like I could trust my car with him. Well I went to see him and he rebuilt the carburetor for my Spitfire and I couldn't be more pleased. I would go there again. I read some of the reviews before I went and am very thankful for this service, I think it is a good guide for making informed decisions. .

I purchased a 2007 Chevrolet HHR from Cash for Car in... - HappyCustomer614

I purchased a 2007 Chevrolet HHR from Cash for Car in Columbus on January 28, 2012. Jamie Longwell was very nice and honest. I went to several dealerships on the westside, soutside, eastside and northside of town. They gave me false information, some were rude while others did not know the product. Jamie gave me a history report about different vehicles that I was interested in. I am a woman; I know a little about cars but after working with Jamie, I know alot more. He always greeted me with an smile and made me feel comfortable. He went beyond the cause of duty to get me finance and the best deal in town. I was very please and happy with his performance. Cash for Car is the best dealership in Columbus, Ohio. They care for the customers. I will tell anyone that is looking for a new or used car to call Jamie at Cash For Car Store Columbus(Phone 614-893-0982). I have family members that sell cars; sad to say but I rather send my friends and family to this dealership instead of my own kin because they do not try to get rich off of you. Also, they keep it honest, respectable and fair. Thanks for the best auto purchasing experience that I ever had.

I had been looking for a 2020 GMC Acadia AT4 for a month - christoph66

I had been looking for a 2020 GMC Acadia AT4 for a month and Cheddar Auto had the best deal of all of the dealerships I had checked. All of the employees I worked with at Chaddar Auto were outstanding from the start of the buying process to the end. Would go there for my next vehicle!
