I bought two tiguans, a 2021 and a 2020. 2021 now needs a $6,000 repair after only 28,000 mi. Was told by service that it's common to see this repair - it is inside the engine but somehow excluded from the warranty. I was also told that even though it's a common issue sales would not bring it up to me during the buying process. I was getting ready to trade both cars in for bigger Volkswagens or even an Audi but after I sink $6,000 into repairing my car and sit and wait for that problem to occur in my other one I'm going to be shopping for another brand of automobile. I cannot believe that the dealership and Volkswagen are asking me to pay $6,000 for carbon buildup in a car that has 28,000 miles. I could cry.

Volkswagen flow of Durham neglected to complete a repair - Brit.ledford

Volkswagen flow of Durham neglected to complete a repair as instructed by the Volkswagen of America Techline. They indicated to the customer that the repair was done and the car was fixed, under warranty. Month later, the car went into limp mode while accelerating on the highway, resulting in a near accident. When the car was actually fixed months later, the tech at a different Volkswagen dealership indicated where he could see that the work had never actually been done by Volkswagen flow of Durham. They closed out the work order without completing the job as instructed by the Volkswagen of America tech line. I do not recommend taking your vehicle here, as their refusal to comply with warranty repair instructions resulted in a near death experience for myself, and my two kids on 15 501. Their utter disregard for the safety of Volkswagen customers, negligence and d laziness should be considered as you are seeking repair options.

Purchased a 2021 Atlas Cross Sport SEL Premium every time I schedule service online I get a call telling me what they cannot do and that they can’t owner the service request until a date 5 weeks out. Never have loaner vehicle. This is my only vehicle and I have a job and cannot set around waiting for hours waiting for them to service the vehicle. Seems like it was a mistake buying this vehicle from them.

I have been taking my Volkeswagons to Frema for service since 2001. The service staff have always been professional, given me updates on the appointment if I'm waiting, offered to take me places, provided a loaner car if the service is extensive, and answered any questions I've had. The sales staff is friendly, asks about any needs the service customer might have while waiting. I've never felt pressured or hounded about buying a new car, trading my current vehicle, or upgrading. They go above and beyond, from repairing a sudden problem without an appointment [re: window wouldn't go up as we were leaving for a week vacation], brought our dog a bowl of water when unexpectedly we had to stop for an issue one summer, gave me a loaner to get home (30 min away) when a car I was driving (not mine, not a VW) suddenly died at 7pm one night and I was near the dealership. The GM and the staff have my business!

Service at VW of Concord yesterday was superb as usual. Olga is the very best as service advisor, but the whole service team is fantastic. Parts were needed that had to be ordered, but this was done very expeditiously. Their need was noted on Saturday and yesterday, Tuesday, they were there and ready to install. The work was done quickly while I waited. The total time spent for the repair was far less than 2 hours. Excellent work, to say the least. I highly recommend having a VW of any model serviced at VW of Concord. Even the waiting area is excellent!

I had a tire blowout and live far away from an Audi dealership. Audi arranged for a tow and Pecheles was able to replace tire, handle 3 safety recalls, fix the check engine light being illuminated, and investigated the EPC light coming on intermittently, which causes the engine to die. I'm not happy with my Audi (the car is a year old and one wheel is on its third tire), but I am happy with the service at Pecheles.
