I was in town visiting a friend and my Grand Cherokee - agrossholz

I was in town visiting a friend and my Grand Cherokee started giving codes. Suspected it was the transfer case going out. Took it in to get the official diagnosis, which I paid for. I was right, they said I need a Tcase. When I went to pick it up, it was stuck in 4wd Low. Ran inside to get some help with that and the techs said, we didn't cause that. The service writer agreed with me that I couldn't have driven it there in 4wd low. I was told "It needs a transfer case. I don't know what to tell you". I told the service writer how to manually put it 4wd Low and he told me that If I knew how then I'd better do it. I had to have my friend drive me to get tools and fix it. Bottom line, If I wasn't a little mechanically inclined I would have had to either pay their $4500 estimate and had it fixed there, or I would have to have it towed out of there. When I drove it in!!! I ended up getting it back in AWD in their parking lot and took me maybe 10 minutes.

My car was suddenly dead in my driveway and I had it - Out of Patience

My car was suddenly dead in my driveway and I had it towed to Huntington Dodge Commack because I purchased the extended warranty when I purchased it. They said it was the starter, replaced it and it seemed okay for a few weeks. I got stuck again and had it towed to them again. It has been there for 18 days so far. I was told it would be ready today and now they are saying that the part has not arrived and are blaming UPS. It was ordered 4 days ago. really?? Once the problem is diagnosed they claim 3 days for it to be approved even though they said that it is covered. Once approved another 3 days to order the parts. They replaced the PTM - now they think it is the alternator. Was it misdiagnosed the first time? No courtesy vehicle. Big expense with towing and having to Uber to work etc. I feel that they don't want you to come there because it is a warranty repair. The staff has been courteous but the procedures they have to follow are unreasonable. Why not order the part right away? It's MOPAR. If for some reason it is not approved- return it. Very unhappy and greatly inconvenienced.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE . - Coll

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE .. Decitful practices, misconstrued information, FRAUD, I'm appalled I'm hurt and heartbroken. I have warranty my title 7/9/25 stating I had to pay all this money I had no warranty drop off 8:30 for oil change tire rotation n to look at AC unit that they had to fix before taking off lot. Now I was lied to by service dept about AC guaranteed no issues. I have issues thermal coupler issues I wanted to purchase another vehicle. What a mess I have on my hands I must have vehicle for work they already had my car for over 10 days couldn't fix now they want it for 5 more days .. no I wouldn't of purchased a car that's not reliable to get me back and forth to work grandkids .. this dealership is a complete mess they need to provide rental car ppl can't lose there job or neglect responsibilities due to the neglect of care by the service dept. I need vehicle ... I don't want this head or wanted anything to do with a lemon I have been pushed bullied and mislead into signing into a jeep that had underlying issues that I was lied to about and decieved. I brought my Dodge ram in for a scheduled oil, change, - Hjc4406

I brought my Dodge ram in for a scheduled oil, change, and tire rotation on...11/7/25...... I parked in line., getting out of my vehicle a woman that works there said will be right with you.... I went to the waiting room..... 45 minutes later she comes into the waiting room and asks me if they can help me...... apparently they pushed my truck to the side and other vehicles were being worked on,... she says what do you need today? I said to her that I have a scheduled appointment for oil change, and tire rotation,... oh she says we'll get that right in.... about 45 minutes later it was done..... The service department has poor communication skills., I waited there twice as long as I should have because my truck was just sitting somewhere...... I give the service department a two stars...

Dave Harr was a great salesman for me. - Randyscott777

Dave Harr was a great salesman for me. He already had a sample configuration for ordering a new 2027 Jeep Rubicon in the computer before I got there. We made a few revisions and I was out of there in less than 45 minutes. I texted him a question the next day and he immediately responded. I am very satisfied with my experience.

I bought my very first new car from Greg LeClair at FX - Philly B

I bought my very first new car from Greg LeClair at FX Caprara on Outer Washington Street (Watertown) back in 1993. While staying in Swan Bay this summer, my wife and I were dissatisfied with our new Toyota Tundra. I know that many of my family members who lived in the North Country still spoke highly of the Caprara Family and their dealerships. We worked with George Kuhn who we found to be friendly, honest, and a good listener. We tried a new Ram 2500 Tradesman. There was no pressure to buy and George occasionally checked in with us to see how our search was going. My wife and I looked in the Rochester area and were disappointed with both the prices, inventory, and lack of dealers wanting to work with customers. After visiting several dealerships we call George and were able to make a great deal on our new Ram 2500! Amazing truck! We had a few visits with Taylor Caprara and found him to be a customer first personable gentleman. He upholds very high standards much like his Dad Charlie Caprara and his Uncle Billy Caprara. We plan to buy our vehicles from FX Caprara from now on. We highly recommend the FX Caprara dealerships! Phil and Kristen Bariteau

My wife called Driver’s Village Jeep in Cicero, NY, and - AA

My wife called Driver’s Village Jeep in Cicero, NY, and spoke with a man named Kyle in the service department. He told her the next available appointment was November 6. When she explained the car was unsafe and asked about towing or a loaner, he was rude, unhelpful, and hung up on her, telling her to “go somewhere else.”

If you need a car or truck go to Emerling Chrysler, and - Jeff

If you need a car or truck go to Emerling Chrysler, and ask for Liz Fisher, she is the best at her job, and will work very hard to help you with your car or truck. I trust her completely, her heart is the best I've ever known. I will always do my business with her. Tell everybody you know that is looking for a car or truck to go see her first before going anyplace else. I know you will be very happy with your choice.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EVEN PULL INTO THEIR YARD Since - Ron

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EVEN PULL INTO THEIR YARD Since purchasing a vehicle on April 30th, 2024 This certified pre owned Jeep compass has been nothing but a nightmare. Completly understand cars with mechanical components develop flaws. However, the people that work here are severely disrespectful , unwilling to reason, and incredibly shady. The vehicle was purchased with 46,226 miles. The engine blew at 46,252 miles. Additionally the car was first traded in to the dealership with 43,821 miles. Meaning, they drove it for 3,000 miles and DEFINITELY were aware of the warped heads. And sold it anyway. They did not even seem surprised when we called back 2 days later to say the engine blew and immediately tried to deflect. We then argued for days to ensure they honored the corporate jeep powertrain warranty. They then tried to put a used engine into the vehicle being discussed, vs a new crate engine from mopar. Paul then patted himself on the back for providing a “free” Rental. 6 days later the engine was swapped. I drove it for 10 minutes and had to bring it back due to faulty installation. The timing belt and tensioner weren’t installed correctly and it wouldn’t be for another few months until I discovered more installation issues from this incompetent service team. They did not install AC lines correctly. So 9,000 miles later the ac lines rubbed through the manifolds , effectively ruining them. Anyone that knows anything cars knows that is a direct result of the engine swap. This place of business should dispense advil at the door for the migraines they cause their customers. What is even worse than everything aforementioned above, is the attitude and arrogance of Paul and James. Mainly Paul. I wish I had recorded some of nasty comments he made towards us. Zero accountability and just disgusting. There are countless reviews online highlighting extremely similar situations. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVEN LOOK HERE. They may refute and delete this comment like they have many others. But please do your own due diligence online and you will see a clear pattern. Paul claims he is too busy to bother himself with his customers. So it is unfathomable how a place like this is even still in business. They are incredibly privileged to exist in an area with little competition. But trust me, the drive to neighboring dealerships will be well WORTH the trip. And the cherry on the sundae, most recently we had the issue with the AC, asked them to look at under warranty. Also briefly mentioned that there was a rattle that they claimed to be the spare tire. Charged $70 to tighten a spare tire. Pulling out of dealership the rattle was still there. I got home, PULLED out the spare tire , noise still there. Honestly after everything before, I really should not have even gone back, that is on me. It is simply the closest dealership. I hope this review saves someone from dealing with this experience. Unfortunately, I asked a coworker to drive me to go get my car back, and I was explaining what happened, and I can’t even make this up, she bought a Durango from Norwich Dodge 4 years ago and THE SAME THING happened to her. Except her car got a used engine and experienced many more years of agony. I have notified Jeep Corporate with documentation and am consulting with a lemon law/civil attorney. It is simply the principle of the matter. Paul is the stereotypical slimy used car salesman and puts on a facade. 4 out of 5 people I talk to feel the same. Yet his delusional mindset makes him think he is gods gift to Norwich.

BEEARE! - Jenusar

BEEARE! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE!!!. After purchasing a brand new dodge 3500 diesel pickup, a recall came out and a 1.6 billion dollar lawsuit from the EPA-that these vehicles were shipped without a particulate matter sensor system. The vehicle started throwing codes at 5000 miles. Once the recall was completed, the vehicle continued to throw codes 2459 nonstop and then go into limp mode ( highly unsafe) After seven visits to the dealershi within 3 months and , them changing the same sensor and filters, the problem continued. After complaining, the technician stripped the cap to the fuel filters and a temporary one had to be placed in order to get it back to the dealership. The technician then took a picture and sent it to star who is their advisor and said it voids the warranty. Now they are no longer covering the same problem since the beginning. Of course they recommend changing the whole fuel system ( now not covered ) That could cost over $25,000. Do not purchase this make or model. Not Only can the dealership not figure out the problem, but takes it out on the customer who has to continue to bring it back week after week after week. The most unprofessional dealership I have ever dealt with. 0 stars and highly NOT RECOMMENDED dealership. Save yourself the headache at this dealership and go elsewhere!!!
