Disappointing Experience with Delayed Registration and Number Plates I purchased a vehicle from Open Road Cadillac Morristown on May 18, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience with their registration and documentation process has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.It has been over two months since my purchase, and I am still waiting for my number plates to be issued. Despite numerous reminders and follow-ups with the agency, the issuance of the number plates has been delayed indefinitely, leaving me unable to fully enjoy and operate my vehicle legally. Furthermore, the temporary registration renewal process at is plagued with inefficiencies and delays. Each time I have had to renew the temporary registration, I have to remind them well in advance. Despite reminding them a week before the expiry date, the renewal is not processed in a timely manner. The lack of communication and responsiveness from the customer service team is appalling. Most of my calls go unanswered, and I am left in the dark about the status of my registration, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience.Overall, my experience with Open Road Cadillac has been marred by delays, poor communication, and a lack of urgency in addressing customer concerns. I urge potential customers to be cautious when dealing with this agency, as their after-sales service leaves much to be desired.I hope that takes immediate action to rectify these issues and improve their processes to provide better service to their customers in the future. I was always reluctant to buy a car out-of-state thinking that getting the car registered in PA would be a hassle. But I found a car on-line that suited my wife's requirements (Bells & whistles) and mine (price) so we ventured across the river to Pine Belt Cadillac in Toms River. We had the good fortune to meet an unspoiled young salesman, Eric Rudolfsky, who was just amazing. As I noted, the price was fair - as it had been reduced recently, and there were no last minute surprises, (add on costs). Eric came with us on the test drive and painstakingly explained all of the features of the XT6 to us. He helped us transfer our auto insurance and Sirius radio account, hook-up our cell phones and program the radio, and he even re-installed our E-ZPass. Most of all, in the weeks since our purchase, he has patiently taken our calls and re-explained what we needed to know and do when we couldn't find the answer in the owner's guide. New cars are beyond the reach of my retirement income, but Eric treated us like royalty and made this purchase of a "pre-owned certified" Caddy feel like we were actually stepping up in the world. I had not planned on buying the Envista, I just wanted to see the car since seeing it in a new cars article for 2024. Mitch was so nice in answering all of my questions when I stopped in the first time. Because of Mitch's customer service I returned to test drive and bought the car! Customer Service skills are unique to find today and Mitch Zarrow is one of a kind. I have always been a VW person, having owned a 74 beetle and my 1997 Passat that I was driving until I bought the Envista. My intention was to upgrade to an Audi Q3, the Audi dealership was without Customer Service skills, their loss! I visited six dealerships, four failed on customer service, one mediocre and Freehold Buick GMC because of Mitch was OUTSTANDING!

dropped off my car for an oil change on Saturday morning, and was told that it would take about 2 hours to complete the service, i waited about 4 hours and nobody called me about my car. I called the dealership to find out about my car only to find out that the service department was already called and nobody called me. good thing i was able to come pick my car up and pay at the sales department. Very bad service, and very disappointing! Highly doubt I will come back.
