09/19/24 Took my new car into the service department for the first time yesterday. Exceptional service with my complimentary assurance maintenance. A first, was the text updates as my car was being fixed. Had an appointment and was in and out in a resonable time. Can't wait for the new location for this dealership. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at Homer Skelton Hyundai. I brought my 2016 Hyundai Equus in for suspension repairs under warranty on November 4, 2024, and my vehicle remained with the dealership for 38 days, during which time the repair process was plagued by delays, poor communication, and unresolved issues. Not only did the service department fail to fix the original suspension problem, but they also repeatedly ordered the wrong parts, causing significant delays. During this time, I was left without transportation, which created major inconvenience and unnecessary hardship. When I finally picked up my car, not only were the original suspension problems still not fixed properly, but a new issue—a noise coming from the front of the vehicle—had appeared. The service department then claimed that the front rims are bent and that the car likely needs two new tires, neither of which were issues prior to bringing my vehicle to this dealership. Key Issues: Prolonged Repair Time: My car was kept at the dealership for over a month without resolution. Wrong Parts Ordered: The repeated ordering of incorrect parts delayed the repair process unnecessarily. Poor Communication: Despite my repeated follow-ups, updates on the repair status were inconsistent and unhelpful. Introduction of New Problems: My vehicle now has additional issues that were not present before the service. Lack of Accountability: The service department offered no satisfactory explanation or resolution for the ongoing problems. It is clear that this dealership is plagued by mismanagement and a lack of professionalism. Homer Skelton Hyundai needs a complete overhaul of its management team to provide the level of service customers deserve. Furthermore, Hyundai should seriously consider stripping its name from this dealership, as the current operations reflect poorly on the Hyundai brand. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. If you value your time and money, avoid Homer Skelton Hyundai. Sincerely, Michael McKinney

One of my best vehicle buying experiences! I had contact with four employees in the dealership and two mechanics in the service area. They were all very helpful and friendly. From the time I entered dealership for test drive to the time I walked out with my new used truck was about an hour and a half. Great buying experience!!

I called them to inquire about purchasing a Chevy Suburban. I was informed that it was believed to be sold, that the gentleman was supposed to fly to Mississippi and pick up the vehicle on Monday, July 3rd. I was told I would get a phone call, on Monday, with a status update. The phone call never came.

Straightforward and Professional In October, my sister-in-law purchased a new Hyundai Venue the dealership had on the lot. She's not good with car deals so I worked out the numbers over the phone on her behalf with Mark Newell. I'm out of state and could not be there for the actual delivery and paperwork signatures. I'm pleased to report that the transaction went smoothly and exactly as discussed and agreed upon. Mind you, there really aren't discounts on new cars right now so we can't speak to how "fair" the deal was,, but the dealership did not tack anything onto the price nor mess with the numbers or finance rate. Mark was professional and honest and we're very satisfied with the whole process.
