Enjoyed our salesman Brandon, he’s was very friendly and knowledgeable about our questions on different models and operating procedures. We shopped over a month and returned to Stateline Subaru and Brandon again very helpful and Randy was very knowledgeable and explained, offered plans on the vehicle we chosen. I would recommend giving them a shot if you’re looking for a new vehicle. Cannot speak on shop service the front sales was great.

Very unpleasant experience. - Andrewgups

Very unpleasant experience. Recommend nobody purchase anything from auto savy. Very dishonest about damage to vehicles. Only got about 100 miles on a used crosstrek that only had 15000 miles on it before it started smoking heavily and leaking fluids. Also , the slightest turn to the right causes extreme rattling and vibrating in the front wheel. Also, car pulls to the right badly. I've been trying to take the car to autosavy under warranty but nobody called me back once. I've been trying since Monday. Finally got my car to their Recommended shop on Friday where I was told they will need to keep my car over the weekend before even getting repairs approved. Reached out to autosavy for a rental that they agreed to but when it came to actually getting the rental they just stopped answering the phone or responding to messages. All a couple hours before closing. No excuses, just terrible business practices and customer service. Wish I never heard of auto savy.

Called 9am about Car Yesterday. - sfdthird

Called 9am about Car Yesterday. Told them next week will drive by and look. Went hour later after texting them will be there (things opened up). Place is very nice with Live Plants and Comfy Chairs (We thought about taking one with us, ha ha). Worked with Justin in Pre Sales and then Sam and Finally AJ. Took longer than I wanted, but I have had LOTS worse. Got great Trade in Deal on Jeep Gladiator I traded in, and better deal on Used 2025 Cadillac XT5. Only 1100 miles on Caddy. Wow it's new. Got super deal on extended warranty from AJ. He's Good! Ok Very Good. I would highly recommend this dealer. Plan on buying again in future when vehicle buying. Trade in I got was very close to KBB and Price for Vehicle I purchased was under KBB.

We recently had an experience with Dave Smith Motors - RJSbluesky

We recently had an experience with Dave Smith Motors (DSM) & purchasing a used RAM diesel truck. We will be upfront & identify that the entire experience was not negative. The initial steps of the purchasing process were very timely/prompt in nature. We did have some challenges with the finances, however we will simply identify that we acknowledge/accept that there can be staffing delays as one must acknowledge that life happens. They did identify and apologize for the delay. Additionally, they did complete 2 requests we had for the truck (we had a part added and had transmission fluid flushed). On the day the truck was picked up, the staff were prompt with picking up from the airport. The staff allowed us to test drive the truck as well as inspect the truck. We did request to have a filter replaced at our own expense, which the service department did promptly. Upon departure from the dealership, we encountered a significant issue with elevated temperatures & were forced to pull off of the interstate within 3 hours of leaving. Ultimately, the truck was taken to another RAM dealership for inspection. As this was late at night, we had to wait until the next morning to have the truck inspected/evaluated. We were initially reassured that this issue would be addressed in a timely manner, as they acknowledged that we were no where close to being home. The dealership identified that the EGR system was bad & required replacement. DSM was informed of this & that we needed to arrange return home. We had the dealership email the estimate as well as we emailed & text the estimate to the dealership. Again, we were informed that this will be addressed expeditiously. We did not get an update on the day the truck was inspected, therefore a flight home was purchased as there were no hotel availability. (Will note: regardless if an extended warranty was purchased for this truck, the warranty would not cover the repair as it was within the first 30 days of purchase) We consistently got told that they would take care of the issue and make it right. At day 14, after numerous calls & text messages regarding making this right, the truck was still incapacitated & no contact had been made from DS to the dealership that had this truck. On day 14, we were transferred to another manager (#3), who did do great service recovery & started forward movement on the truck. However, we were notified that the truck would be towed back to their dealership for repair. This further delayed the process. We did express our concerns and DS considered our concerns & did provide 2 options: to have them repair the truck or they would “unwind” the purchase. Ultimately, we opted to “unwind” the truck. But there was an additional 7 day delay in this. The truck was not towed back to DS until day 21. Our deposit was refunded & a check was mailed to close out the loan. On day 28, the loan was closed out. This issue happened within 300 miles of leaving DSM. Although they did an “unwind” on the truck, we were still out the airfare, a full tank of diesel, the filter we requested be replaced, & a month of auto insurance (Total: $1200). In the long run, we were willing to accept this, as we felt this was more acceptable than having a truck that potentially could have needed significant repairs. The concerns that customers need to consider when considering this dealership for the purchase of a used truck are: -the inspection/intake of a used truck is only as good as the mechanic that did the intake inspection -there are significant communication delays post-purchase of a vehicle with even more delays with forward movement -we were often told that “we don’t have your folder” as a reason an update could not be provided -if you experience a problem, take good notes & be consistent ***of note: this truck is BACK at the dealership for the 3rd time for sale BEWARE Traded in 5/26; back in 7/26, & back 9/26 and still listed as one owner

Over paying for the car. - wrightrebecca32

Over paying for the car. Plus the car needs front brakes, oil link, back passenger door does not open, and the tramition needs work. Not happy about paying 26,000 dollars for a car the was 16,000. That's a lot of interest.

The purpose of this review is not to be mean spirited, - Justin

The purpose of this review is not to be mean spirited, but to warn others about purchasing used vehicles from Lithia in Pocatello. I recently bought a 2016 Ford Edge. While on the test drive, I noticed the TPMS light was on. I asked the salesman if he would be willing to fix that if I decided to purchase it. He said no. I was willing to let that go and it ended up costing me $180.00 for new TPS sensors. Still no big deal because I felt like I got a fair deal on the car ($8000), which had 117,000 miles on it. A few days after I purchased the air conditioner compressor went out and it cost me $1500.00 to fix. After making my first payment, we had our first cold morning when I realized the heater didn't work. After fixing the heater ($300.00), the transmission went out (All Tran quoted a $6500.00 repair). I went into Lithia to talk with the manager and he told me lemon laws in Idaho don't apply to used vehicles and he refused to help me further. So my warning to you is DO NOT BUY from this dealership. They obviously don't check out their used vehicles before they sell them and they don't stand behind them in nightmare scenarios such as this. I can't believe they didn't know there were serious issues with this car. I'm guessing they just reset the codes and sent it out the door. VERY upset over this. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy from Lithia in Pocatel

This was by far the best new car buying experience we... - kippersnaks

This was by far the best new car buying experience we have ever had! Austin guided us through the process and we were out of the dealership in about an hour. Tanya helped us order an add on for our new Palisade Calligraphy and was very helpful. When it came to our visit with the financial guy, Will, things went perfectly. Very happy with the car and with the dealership.

Easy and pleasant experience. - jerry.ellison89

My wife totaled her vehicle so we were in a bit of a time crunch. Bill was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. As soon as I told him I was interested, he held the vehicle for me until I was able to make it down to Idaho Falls to check it out. We got a great deal on our 2019 Highlander and would definitely work with him again!

This dealership sold us a lemon, and when I tried to get - furrellpe

This dealership sold us a lemon, and when I tried to get SAFETY issues fixed, IE a broken radiator they want to make me pay. This was within 30 days of purchase. They also sold a deleted truck, I specifically asked the salesman if it had been deleted, because I wanted to go prospect in California. Now, because its deleted and smokes, I cant. They say a "thorough" inspection when they talk to you, In reality, they barely look. If they didnt notice the leak, and the missing DPF filter, they are either willfully ignoring things or blind. They also failed to provide a spare tire, a serious safety issue!

Service Advisor Robert Head helped me get my 2024 Ram - trumanryanfrancis

Service Advisor Robert Head helped me get my 2024 Ram Tradesman in and out with precision. Fuel Filter and Water Separator Filter Replaced. Usually about a 60 minute task. Robert and Service Techs got me in and out in under 45 minutes late in the day after I was off from work. Thank you Mountain Home Auto Ranch for the Service. 10 hours from Oregon on a job assignment and you guys made it easier for me. Robert Head was very professional, sociable, knowledgeable and had his xxxx together when it came to doing his job they way it should be done.

I was sadly disappointed in my experience with Ryan and - Nicole.metz32

I was sadly disappointed in my experience with Ryan and Hawks motors. I had talked my daughter into buying her boyfriend his car from Ryan, a used BMW, it had low miles, was a little older but looked nice. There were some things needing to still be fixed on it that they said were already fixed but weren't. At first Ryan was great about promising to get them fixed and make it right. But that is as far as it went. He directed us to multiple shops to get things fixed but NOTHING was or has been fixed still to this day on that car, 6 months later and promise after promise. Sad part is that because he seemed so nice and easy to work with we thought we would have him and his shop work on my daughters Mercedes as well. She needed a back driver side door fixed that some children had broken the leaver to open it. We took it in, told them the issue it all seemed fine. We go back to pick it up and they said......Oh we fixed the broken back window....we were like what the window wasn't broken.....They froze pretty much at that point knowing they had done the wrong thing to the wrong car. Instead of fixing the back driver side door. They supposedly fixed the back driver side window and took apart the driver's door and in the process broke that door!! And to add salt to that he wanted my daughter to pay for having that door fixed and it wasn't broken to begin with so that he could reorder the part to really fix it now and try to fix the back door as well. 4 shops later $400 dollars spent on our side the Mercedes front door is still broken, the back door is now fixed there never was anything wrong with the window and his shop ruined the secondary air compressor which we now need to replace at a cost of $600.00 AND THE BMW STILL HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED and since it won't work now 6 months later he is refusing to even fix the things we have in writing that he was going to fix as part of the deal and he won't take the car back and give my daughter her money back so now she's out that second car and $9000.00 dollars for it. Seriously DO NOT shop his lot and if he states he or his shop will fix anything run because it will end up costing you more than the original repair would have with a reputable shop to begin with. I'm really not happy Ryan and I think the way you treated my daughter because she was young was really a crappy thing to do. I honestly hope no one ever treats your children as poorly as you treated mine.

We have been looking for a Slightly used Toyota Camry for - Ann

We have been looking for a Slightly used Toyota Camry for months. We noticed the post on Facebook market place and immediately scheduled an appointment with Omar. He was very nice and professional. Everything I requested he made happen. I didn't want to pay the asking price that equaled the amount of a brand new Camry.Ruben the Financial manager asked what I would be happy with eventhough others were already looking at the car while I was filling out the application for it. They met me at my price and went the extra mile to make me a happy client. I will definitely recommend to all my family and friends to this business.

Was sold a total lemon of a car with various issues, they - mollyflower23

Was sold a total lemon of a car with various issues, they lied about what engine it had, and I learned from the mechanic that the codes it was throwing after I got it had been cleared several times before purchase so they knew about the issues beforehand. When I came to them about the first problem (about an $80 part and an hour of work) they "fixed" it but it was back to doing the same thing 30 minutes later. When I told them about the other issues they said I would have to pay full price to fix the car. It shouldn't have had these issues in the first place but instead they hid them until they could pass the problem onto someone else.

Tried scamming me out of 1k on our verbal agreement. - Michelangelo

Tried scamming me out of 1k on our verbal agreement. When caught the salesman was incredibly rude over the phone yelling "you're just confused" at me. Asked them to send me my original sales agreement and they "lost it because it wasn't important" even though they're required to keep it up to five years. That document was proof they tried stealing from me and they conveniently "lost it". Ended up refunding me the money back, essentially admitting to guilt. Truck ended up having a bunch of metal shavings in the fluid and they didn't repair other issues they said they would fix with the vehicle either. Highly unprofessional, this would have been my third vehicle purchased with them I can only imagine how they treat new clients. Will never purchase from them again.
