There was a recall on the power steering unit of my 2008 Escape, and I never expected the high level of professionalism and courtesy bestowed upon me! From the moment I got on the phone, I was first greeted with warm regard by Gianna, from the service department and she set me up with Luis. Luis Gonzales, the gentleman who serviced my vehicle went above and beyond to make sure I had no worries. When he was done fixing my vehicle he made sure I was able to get my car back in a timely manner as well because I live an hour and half away, he helped me arrange to have AAA bring my car back to me, because I have mobility issues and driving 3 hours in a day would be excruciatingly painful. This service department is the only one in 60 mile radius from my location in Santa Cruz that was willing to help me with my situation. I can't emphasize enough how special they made me feel. Luis especially was amazing, he was able to set me at ease every step along the way. I can be a bit of a worry wart, so his patience and understanding was phenomenal. If I ever decide to purchase a new Ford, I know exactly where I'm going. The customer service and kindness I received is something I'll probably never forget. If everyone had even a fraction of this brand of care, the world would be a better place for sure. . .THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Horrible experience. Make promises they have no intention of honoring. I was mortified at how I was treated after being a loyal paying customer for over 5 years and 2 vehicles purchased there. Still waiting for Service Managers Marks call after 3 weeks.

I really tried with the place. The first time I went the service wasn't great. However, when I sent the second time. I figured, hey it's been awhile maybe things will get better. I also, needed to tow my car and my usually mechanic does not do electrical work. I needed an ECU replaced. I bought one that was preprogrammed. I told them this, and they decided to argue with me about if it was or not. To the point I needed to send them an email just to prove myself. I told them all they needed to do is put it in and sync it. I would've done it myself if I had the time. It took them 4 days to do this job. I asked them why it took them so long. They told me they needed to drive it longer to check the computer was working. I took the car back, drove it only 7miles and the locks started to unlock and lock while I was driving, and the engine started to act weird. I told them the issue, and that I wanted to have it fixed as soon as possible. The service manager Casey Ruiz starts talking to me like he wanted to fight. I was professional told him not to speak over me. He says "you know what you can bring your car back, but it is going to be two days until we get to it, because we have other customers". Therefore, I contacted the "Service Director" Angel who disrespects me the same way. I had to tell them that I gave them my car in hopes of them doing what they've said. The mechanic/technician said my ECU was fine, and everything checked out. I just want Thorson Buick GMC to do what they've said, and I will be out of your hair. They took my car, and stated I needed new battery cables that would cost them $941 to fix because they needed to find after market cable kit. I was going to do it, but something (GOD) told me to take my car. I did, and found out that I can get this fix about $400 cheaper. In short, don't go here. No matter how convenient it is, or even if they say they will cut you a deal. Go elsewhere. I am not coming back. If it wasn't for one Service Technician named Randy Bruno who was professional. I would've given them a 1 star. Go elsewhere people. This place is not worth the headache. They've also scorched my brakes doing whatever they do. I wouldn't do this to this car because it's a rebuild.

Service Manager, Bri Wall, is total pro. I had a pretty gnarly situation having experienced three pretty lousy situations prior to my service appointment thanks to a lousy parts department and a snafu with Toyota towing service. And then, the service rep tried to pull one over on me. I asked to speak to the manager. She allowed me to tell the whole story and the series of events that led me to the straw that broke the camel's back. She hear me, agreed with me and took over my case and got my car serviced. She went further than I expected and took care of the charges based on my poor experience. Thanks to her and my cool and fair sales person Claudio , I will continue to do business with them and plan to roll my current Prius into a new Prius next year. Thank you for your kind customer service.
