My experience after purchasing a CPO Audi from Audi Van - THeard

My experience after purchasing a CPO Audi from Audi Van Nuys has been extremely disappointing. I reported concerns immediately after delivery and was instructed by Audi Van Nuys to have the vehicle evaluated by my local Audi dealer in Michigan. I did exactly that. Audi Birmingham inspected the vehicle, documented the concerns, and I sent the requested information back to Van Nuys. On July 3, Van Nuys told me the matter had been escalated internally. On July 30, I was told it would be discussed with management. I repeatedly followed up afterward and never received the dealership’s decision. I ultimately opened Audi of America Case 07657052. Audi USA has now confirmed that Audi Van Nuys management did review my complaint and decided not to provide assistance—but Van Nuys never communicated that decision to me. Audi USA acknowledged in writing that this communication experience did not reflect the experience Audi strives to provide. My frustration isn’t simply that the dealership said no. Businesses are entitled to disagree with customers. My problem is being instructed to spend my time obtaining documentation from another Audi dealership, being told the issue was escalated, and then receiving no closure after doing everything requested. The contrast with Audi Birmingham has been night and day. Birmingham has been responsive, transparent and professional throughout every interaction. I expected substantially better communication and accountability when purchasing an Audi Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from an authorized Audi dealership.

Amazing experience at Audi Oakland! - zfgardner

Amazing experience at Audi Oakland! The sales team kept us updated every step of the way from the first time I asked about the car until we received it. Thank you!

I recently purchased a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 from Audi - Nick2920

I recently purchased a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 from Audi Calabasas, and the delivery experience was an absolute failure of basic dealership standards. While my individual salesperson was courteous, the dealership’s backend management, prep department, and service team cut every corner imaginable. Here is how my truck was handed over: Falsely Claimed "Serviced": I was explicitly told the truck had just been serviced. It wasn’t. The oil life monitor read 66%, the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank was completely empty, and the windshield washer fluid was bone dry. Handing over a modern diesel truck with zero DEF is blatant neglect. Unfinished Assembly: I opened the back door to find boxes of parts dumped across the back seat for me to assemble and install myself. Fuel Shortage: After closing the deal, the truck was handed to me with only half a tank of fuel. Floor Mat Bait-and-Switch: The truck was missing a front mat. The dealer claimed an OEM replacement set was $200. I asked if I could pay an extra $20 to upgrade to a full WeatherTech set ($220 total), and they agreed to handle it. What arrived was a front-only set that retailed for around $160—leaving the rear cab unprotected and completely failing to deliver on what was agreed upon. This dealership is selling high-dollar vehicles while providing the bare minimum effort. Cutting corners on fluids, leaving uninstalled parts in the cabin, and cheaping out on floor mats shows a complete lack of integrity and quality control. Take your business elsewhere.

Q7 purchase - mising1

Mustafa was a pleasure to work with as well as his manager Greg. They were professional throughout the transaction. He followed up with me even after car was purchsed.

My experience at Santa Monica Audi this morning was - Rmuhammad1

My experience at Santa Monica Audi this morning was extremely disappointing. I had a service appointment scheduled, yet | was left sitting and waiting while being told I could only work with one specific advisor. The process was inconvenient, inefficient, and the staff came across as apathetic and unconcerned about the customer experience. I ultimately left the dealership and drove out of my way to Audi of Beverly Hills. They answered the phone immediately, were accommodating, told me I could drop the car off quickly, and get on with my workday. I would not recommend Santa Monica Audi. It is absolutely worth driving a little farther for the far better service and professionalism at Audi of Beverly Hills.

Some dealerships do the right thing. - Ron N.

Some dealerships do the right thing. Audi Concord — and specifically General Manager Eddie Martz — is one of them. Back in 2019, I bought a pre-owned vehicle from Audi Concord as a gift for my wife, who had just reached an important personal milestone. It was a meaningful purchase. During the prep process, a detailer accidentally cut the front seat. The dealership repaired it at the time, and we drove away happy. Fast forward to 2026. The repair gave way. I’ll be honest — I wasn’t sure what to expect when I called. It had been years. But Eddie listened. He didn’t make excuses or hide behind the clock. He looked into what happened, acknowledged that the original repair hadn’t been done properly, and told us he’d make it right — no charge. That kind of accountability is rare. Eddie treated us like people, not like a liability. If you’re looking for a dealership where the leadership actually stands behind their work — and their word — this is it.

I've been going here for nearly 10 years and the service - gfalvo3

I've been going here for nearly 10 years and the service has gone down the tubes. In short, I had to return 4 times to get a window leak fixed. I was provided no concession and was even incorrectly charged for the service. I had to follow-up 4 times over 2 weeks before someone called me back to address it (when I was told they would get back to me the next day). Just really poor service, expectations, etc. I will never use them again

I had an absolutely fantastic experience working with - Marissa

I had an absolutely fantastic experience working with James Jamous at Audi Burlingame. From the moment I walked in, James was knowledgeable, honest, and incredibly helpful. I came in needing guidance, and he took the time to answer all my questions without ever being pushy. He was transparent and fair when it came to pricing, which made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free. Emma from financing was also amazing—she made everything easy to understand and kept the process smooth from start to finish. The entire team at Audi Burlingame was great to work with, but James and Emma truly went above and beyond. I couldn’t be happier with my new Audi—thank you both!

Now known as Audi Carlsbad. - Calbear92

Now known as Audi Carlsbad. I must say this was another easy to do deal. I normally do my Audi deals with the big dog where I live in LA, but Donny is someone that I've corresponded with over the last few years and recommend him whenever my San Diego/OC friends are looking to do an easy deal. He's a consummate professional- responsive, friendly, and more importantly- doesn't waste time. I messaged him looking for a very hard to spec vehicle- only 3 of them across the entire US. 1 in Nashville and 1 in Orlando. I had a deal in place at another dealer closer to home, but by the time AFS had verified some information on Loyalty Lease Cash that needed to occur during weekdays- that hard to come by model was sold. Once I confirmed Donny had the exact Q5 that I was looking for, he was able to get a deal done with minimal back and forth. He has a solid reputation and now, after doing our 1st deal together, I can see why he's successful. I was able to review the contract before I made the drive down to Carlsbad. We had a minor correction and I was able to sign the documents with Apple Pencil and some handwritten ones, process my old 2019 Q5 with them, and take delivery of my 2023 Q5 with Warm Weather and Black Optics. It's a beautiful looking car in Mythos Metallic Black with Black Interior. Nick in Finance and Lilly, sales manager closed the deal for us. I had previously opted for 3 year Audi Care and there were no attempted upsells. Everyone was very easy and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended and will gladly consider doing deals with them again. Bonus: got free entertainment while signing documents- someone driving into service hit their hydrant and sent up a 35 foot while Christmas tree of water for over 40 minutes.

Mega thanks to Andrew for landing me a great car. - kayakmurf

Mega thanks to Andrew for landing me a great car. He took the time to pull up all the cars I was shopping at other dealerships to make the right choice. His product knowledge on the car I wanted was superb and on mark. The entire experience was pleasant and I appreciate their entire crew for helping me out. Thanks again Rocklin Audi!

Audi Service Department is outstanding excellence. - Ed Shifres

Audi Service Department is outstanding excellence. My car has been serviced since 2020 and ALL of the Service Consultants are A+. I also notice they all have been with Audi for many years, which is rare these days when employees change companies so often. Justin Amezquita has been my Service Consultant for the past three years and he is a top-notch professional, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I could not ask for better. Ed Shifres

In June 2025, I paid $1,540. - mh256

In June 2025, I paid $1,540.50 at Audi Monterey Peninsula for a rear axle seal/bolt repair due to a leak and burning oil smell. The dealership assured me it was fixed. Six months later (December 2025), the exact same symptoms returned, leading to complete rear differential failure from fluid contamination and bearing damage. Their quote: $11,885.83. The service rep admitted in writing that this kind of rapid escalation is “rare” after a seal repair and apologized for not disclosing the risks in June — but the dealership refuses to accept any responsibility for the misdiagnosis or incomplete repair. Since purchasing my 2019 Q8 three years ago, it has only ever been serviced at Audi Seaside/Monterey Peninsula. The car is not driven aggressively, sees minimal miles (~10k/year), and is primarily used for business. I escalated to Audi Corporate (assigned a case manager) and involved the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). The BAR mediator agreed additional diagnostics should have been done in June. Despite this, Audi and the dealership have not accepted fault. When I picked up the vehicle on January 9, 2026, the invoice completely omitted the rear axle leak and showed a “clean inspection” — even though the differential was still failed. The car has been inoperable since December 9, 2025 — no loaner provided. Their latest “best and final” offer: refund the $1,540 June repair but charge me $7,821.46 for the differential (slightly higher than a prior discounted quote of $7,566). I’ve now reported this to NHTSA, as a 2022 Audi TSB covers nearly identical rear differential leaks in 2020–2022 Q8 models (and others), raising questions about whether this is a broader issue. If you own a Q8 (especially 2019–2022), be cautious with service at this dealership and others. Document everything, get second opinions if needed, and know your rights under California law.

Andrew was fantastic! - Lesliejames64

Andrew was fantastic! He made our purchasing experience very smooth. His customer service is impeccable. We left with a beautiful Volvo and actually had fun doing it! The new fully electric Volvo’s are amazing and we could not be happier with this purchase. Thank you Andrew for educating us on all the bells and whistles that this car has.
