The team at Royal all work for customer satisfaction. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE sums it best for me. No high pressure xx like most dealerships. Don was especially helpful.
We were 600 miles from home visiting our family in Tuscaloosa. I saw the car on the Royal Automotive Car Gurus post and could see it was priced right (I have been shopping for a couple months). I requested availability status and Don called shortly afterwards. We visited the lot the next day expecting the ole “dealership song and dance”. But to my surprise, that never happened. Don was very welcoming and courteous. Had answers at hand for all my questions. No pushy salesmanship. Just friendly conversation about the car and what we were looking for.
We test drove the car with Don and loved it. But we did not bring the car I planned to trade. But that was not a problem for Don. We negotiated a trade-in price (sight unseen) that I found fair for my vehicle. Don suggested that he could hold the vehicle while we thought about it if we put a small deposit down. But I did not at that time. But the next day I called back and put down the deposit over the phone and he removed the car from the lot. I traveled home returned a few days later with my trade-in vehicle. Don inspected my car and we finalized the trade agreement in about 20 minutes. Don had their car ready to go, serviced, and a full fuel tank. Sammy had all paperwork and ready to sign and he went through it and explained every page.. Within an hour from arrival, we were done. Fastest closing on a car transaction I have ever made!
I just can't say enough about the great experience we received from Don and Sammy and the rest of the team at Royal Automotive. Excellent job! What a refreshing experience.
If only all car dealers could handle business this way. I know I will be back to give them a shot at my next vehicle. It will be worth the 1,200 mile round trip to get this level of service again. Thank you all.
