I don’t recall who Mr. Vargas was, sorry! Overall the staff at this dealership were very cordial and friendly. Our salesperson was friendly for the most part. He was new to the dealership. In my personal opinion I felt he needed more guidance and training in which I expressed my concerns to the Finance Manager when we were with him. We were given incorrect information about the vehicle we wanted to purchase. Hopefully this review will re-iterate the need for extensive training prior to turning a new hire loose to sink or swim. Three different times I almost walked out unhappy with the experience I was given. Fortunately others stepped up to the plate and were able to smooth the situation over. In the end, it all worked out fine and we are satisfied with our purchase. I will continue doing business with this dealership in the future. As far as Mr. Shakur and Mr. Jamal Taylor go, they are top notch employees and fantastic at their jobs!! Mr. Taylor provided pertinent information to us that was extremely helpful and made the transition work smoothly! They are worth every penny they earn!! These two men give this dealership a 5 star rating!!

Wonderful buying experience, we were in and out from 1:30 pm to 3 pm. We did a quick test drive, knew what we were looking for and Elmer helped us with establishing something we were comfortable with and budget in mind. He was also sweet and a true gentleman. Everyone in there was kind and treated us like family. I have the most respect for this kind of facility. Thank you to Mickey Johnson for welcoming us in- even putting his lunch down to speak with us. Thank you Elmer, Drew, Richard Gulledge, and many others.

Beware! - Flesley4

Beware! They will make repairs, you clearly stated you did not want done and the service advisor stated on phone did not need to be done. I was charged for these then told by the service advisor, that’s not what he understood. All work done was unsatisfactory. The engine light was back on after leaving dealership. If you’re a woman without auto service knowledge, I would not trust Barkley. I will not return in fear of being taken advantage of again.

I would give it a ZERO if I could. Sold me a lemon and then stopped taking my calls after I complained to them about the vehicle. Not only that, they used the warranty off my truck and order two part on two separate days that wasn't for my truck (FRAUD) and had in the remarks that they installed it on my vehicle. This dealership is VERY DECEITFUL AND FRAUDULENT!

Purchased 2014 Buick lacrosse that I veiwed on line. Traded my 2013 Avalon and was able to negotiate all the details thru email and saved a lot of time prior to arriving at the dealership. New car was all as discussed and trade in value was at a fair market value wholesale. Great experience of an on line purchase. Dealer was located 100 miles from home and worth the trip. Alice Ricks was the sales professional and provided all the details I needed to feel comfortable to make the purchase with GlennSmith Buick.
