I took my wife's Jaguar in for service because the left front tire sensor wasn't linking to the computer after putting on new tires and wheels. I told the service Department exactly what the problem was (I knew because the mechanic that maintained the car when we lived in VA told me). After waiting over an hour the Service Advisor told me it would cost approximately $400 to fix it. My mechanic in VA had advised me it should cost about $120.. When I declined the service I was charged $96 for "diagnostics". I asked why they had to run diagnostics when I had already told them what the problem was. The response was that it was "standard procedure". We are new to the area and are looking for a new service provider for the Jaguar. Needless to say it won't be Baker Motors! More
Not knowledgeable on how to process service claims with warranty companies. You end up having to call your own warranty company yourself (multiple times) and coordinate the service. They try to charge MORE than what the warranty company authorizes for labor/parts. My vehicle does not run as smoothly as it did before I had it serviced. Would NEVER bring my vehicle in for service and would NEVER purchase a vehicle from this dealership. No wonder they have an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. More
We brought our car in for a recall as well as a 30k checkup. Rather than charge us several hundred dollars for maintenance that isn't really needed, they just checked the car over and told me what they checkup. Their list matched up with what I thought would need to be done at 30000 miles. My wife and I have lived in three states, and this is our second time in Charleston. We were excited to be coming back here so we could bring the car to Baker again. The service department is great, better than any other Infiniti dealer we have been to. I would absolutely recommend bringing your Infiniti in here, I can't comment on any of the other brands though. More
Chris in parts not only lied to me, but when he was done making a new key it did not work! Took him forever and then I had to come back! Then he wanted to charge me an extra $150.00 to program it which he h making a new key it did not work! Took him forever and then I had to come back! Many, many friends have said they had similar experiences, if I would have had another option I would have taken it! Never again Baker Motors! NEVER!! More

I feel very betrayed by this company.Let me start by saying I have known them for 13 years and am appalled that they would treat any person this way.I purchased a 2007 Lexus IS 250.After a few days of o saying I have known them for 13 years and am appalled that they would treat any person this way.I purchased a 2007 Lexus IS 250.After a few days of ownership I realized that this car had been sold with four bad tires,rotors and brakes.To which I was assured that were all in good condition.I became so concerned about my safety that I had the Lexus dealership check this car out.They found a bad water pump (under warranty) a bad fuel pump and cam gear.They said that the tires were unsafe,the brakes and rotors in poor condition.AJ Geffert proceeded to tell me that was a sales pitch.Then he said either I or the dealership were liars.We have been trying faithfully to get this car repaired to no avail since early on and now we are being thrown the mileage card.Saying the car has too mamy driven miles on it now to do anything about it.Do not trust this company.They will sell you a junker and then leave you stranded.I am just sick.I thought I could get a great quality car now all I am left with is a large balance and a terribly unsafe car.Take my advice and stay away from this dealership. We were on vacation and the transmission on our Buick Lasabre expired. We needed a good used car to get back home which was about 400 miles away. Rather than repair the transmission we decided to buy a good used car. We selected a 2006 Buick Lucern which appeared to be in good condition. We were about 100 miles out of Charleston when the car conked out. After we returned home we tried numerous times to have the car repaired at an authorized GM dealer but with no success. I am convinced that the dealer knowingly sold us a lemon. Since we were in a bind and lived so far away, they thought that they would never hear from us again. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. More
