As this was a purchase si WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A CAR DEALERSHIP EVER. I purchased a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 from this dealership on 4/9/2020. As this was a purchase sight unseen (I am in Florida, they are in Illinois), I asked for any pictures of any imperfections/dents/etc and any interior issues. I received pictures that showed the car in overall good condition, with a few spots that were touched-up. They assured me the car was in great mechanical order, and offered to sell me a third party aftermarket warranty to ease my mind at the tune of $3400+ that they promised would cover any problems. I agreed to purchase the warranty as well. About a week later, I receive the car. Immediately notice there are huge paint chips in obvious areas that was conveniently missed in pictures. Not to mention a piece of the b-pillar (the panels between the windows) is literally hanging off. They offered me $250 to help with respraying the door (clearly would not cover the whole cost of repainting a door). They offered to send me a new pillar to replace the broken one. Fast forward 3 days later. I get a flashing check engine light on, so I bring to my mechanic. He informs the camshaft and lifters are bad, and the cost for repair is in the tune of $5000. I had a 14 day warranty that is enforced by the state of Illinois, so obviously i called icars to have them pay for this. They proceed to tell me my guy is too expensive, and they would only cover xxxx amount. Completely unacceptable, so they then tell me to ship the car back up to them, and they will fix it at their cost. Now about 2 weeks later I get the car back. At this point, I have “owned” the car for over 5 weeks, and have yet to have the car in my possession for longer than 3 days. Not even a week goes by after they did the “repairs” and my Check engine light is back on. This time, I have the car towed to the local Jeep dealership. They tell me the motor is completely shot, codes for cam tensioner timing chain etc etc. In other words, the “work” icars did was complete junk. They told me to call the warranty company, who has denied my $9960 repair because they claim it is a “preexisting issue”. Icars has refused to help in any way. And to add insult to injury, when my car was shipped back up to Illinois for the repairs, I had my baby seat protector, and baby seat base hooked up in the back seat still. Upon receiving the car back, they had removed my baby seat base and put that in the trunk, and the seat protector was missing. When I inquired about this, I was told they dont know where it is, but the $100 they were going to charge me for “warranty work” they will not charge me and that “I can just go buy myself a nice one”. They are absolutely terrible people, and I hope you enjoy the car seat protector you took, Barry. More

Made my car purchase right. Great car and experience! Purchased a gently used 2012 Audi A7 with 58,XXX. Vehicle was in excellent shape inside and out and didn't have to worry about anything else. Overall, would HIGHLY recommend iCarsChicago to anyone and will be back to purchase from them in the future. Read further down for full customer experience. However, on the way home from the dealership the cruise control would not work and gave an error code of "audi acc braking guard unavailable". Contacted the dealership and directly spoke with the owner Barry that night. Barry was nice, professional, and assured me that he would fix the cruise control up to what they pay vs. dealership hourly rates. Through quick research with Barry and myself it appeared the radar sensors were out of the place and would need calibrated at an Audi Dealer. Due to living 3.5 hours away, I took the car to a local dealer and found out one of the radar module sensors was out. Autohaus in Peoria, IL wanted $2,500 for the sensor and another $1,000 for labor and calibration. Contacted Barry and he immediately told me that we would try to replace and sensor with used one. Sure enough Barry ordered the sensor off ebay and it arrived quickly. Once the sensor was here. Barry gave me the option to put it in myself or he would pay to have it installed. Due to the car being an Audi and a used part installed, I had to install the part myself. Installing the radar sensor wasn't as easy as thought, due to removing the whole front bumper. Once the radar sensor was installed, I took it back again, and the radar sensor worked and was able to be re calibrated. Barry personally contacted the dealership and took care of the bill from Autohaus in Peoria, IL (bill $580). Barry made this process painless and stress free, due to the car having problems. Although, I paid a small portion to pay to see what the problem was, Barry ORDERED me a radar sensor and PAID to have it installed. Can't say how surprised I am on how the owner, Barry, handled this and will see him again in the future. REVIEWS speak for themselves and you WON'T be disappointed if you purchase from them. More
