I traded in my van for a Jeep in May 2023, it’s now September and they still haven’t paid off my van, now I’m behind payments I didn’t know I had and my credit is shot. 0/10 September and they still haven’t paid off my van, now I’m behind payments I didn’t know I had and my credit is shot. 0/10 More
My girlfriend and I bought a 2016 Hyundai Tuscon SE AWD with around 82,xxx miles on it for around $14,600 from them last month. First of all, she doesn't have the best credit, but even with a trade in of a with around 82,xxx miles on it for around $14,600 from them last month. First of all, she doesn't have the best credit, but even with a trade in of a beater car they still wanted her to pay $550+ a month for a 72 month loan with 24% interest. The national average for her credit score was less than 22% and they said with a trade in it would drop interest rate 4-5 percent. After I told them that was a ridiculous payment and interest rate for that car and we left, they chased us out the door and said we can get it down to $359 with 21% interest immediately. That predatory business practice is not something a business should do and that was the first problem. That was the first problem. After negotiating a little more and getting what we thought was a fair deal, we took the car home with no warranty after the sale associate assured there was nothing wrong with the car besides needing new tires and a couple small dents, typical with a used car so we were fine with it. He told us we could get the basic warranty for $10-15 on top of the payment and then when we went back to the finance manager to do the paperwork, turns out the most basic warranty we were told was going to be $10-15 extra was more like $70 a month extra. Another shady move by iAuto. Finally after we take the car home, within two weeks of owning it and driving less than 1,000 miles, check engine light come on for two cylinders misfiring. Take it to a mechanic and they say the catalytic converter is completely blocked up casing exhaust not to be able to escape, and blowing out an exhaust seal the relieve all the build up. Mechanic said (and basic car knowledge will tell you) a catalytic converter doesn't become blocked like that with that little driving, so its obviously been attempted to be cleaned out and put back together just long enough for them to sell without symptoms during the test drive. Called them up and said nothing they can do about it because we didn't purchase a warranty. Went back and forth a little with them and they said well maybe we can see about fixing it for cost ($1500+ catalytic converter) even though it is illegal in Ohio for a dealership to sell a car without disclosing a known condition. So, to sum up, if you're in the market for a used car, I highly advise against going to iAuto. Between the shady business practices trying to get you to pay double what the cars worth and selling you a car with a band aid over a bullet hole. You're better walking. Ray the manager had ZERO concern once he got our money. He was rude and apathetic. Could not be reasoned with. They only want your money. Very deceptive. This dealership has NO honor or integrity whatsoever. Very disgusted. Run for your life!! I wish we had :( More
This dealership shared that they had a Prius 5 with leather seats, sunroof, and other options. However, no photos posted. I called and asked after a week of no photos and I was told they were busy, b leather seats, sunroof, and other options. However, no photos posted. I called and asked after a week of no photos and I was told they were busy, but they would send me some photos within 30 minutes. They did very specifically confirm that the car was a Prius 5 and it had leather seats. After 90 minutes I called again and shared that they were still busy and they would send me the pictures ASAP. After 3 more hours, I decided to just drive the 30 minutes to the dealership (since they did confirm this was a Prius 5 with leather seats, which is what I was looking for). When I got there, noone was working (everyone was standing around, so they had time to take a picture, which still had not been sent). When they pulled the car up, it was NOT the car advertised. It was a Prius 2. It did not have leather seats. It did not have a sunroof. And looking at it, I see why they didn't put a photo online. When I told them that I thought they pulled the wrong car, they double checked and said this was the correct one. So I asked why they are calling this a Prius 5 (it is not), or why they shared it had leather seats when they are clearly cloth. I got no response (just a shrug). This seems to be a common issue today with poorer performing dealerships. They figure since that there is such a demand for used cars they can be inaccurate with their description to draw you to their dealership, then when you have already made the trip they hope that you will just buy the car anyway. I won't be returning and would caution anyone who is considering one of their cars I would make sure you can verify the options and car/model you want by photos. You can't trust their description on the website or talking to them on the phone. More
Do not buy here, I had a very bad experience with this dealership. They will rip you off! I bought a truck from them that was supposed to be a good deal for a project truck, but the dealership did not dis dealership. They will rip you off! I bought a truck from them that was supposed to be a good deal for a project truck, but the dealership did not disclose how badly rusted the truck was. I paid 9,500 for the truck and then once I have it looked at, I sold it back to them. I had the truck less than 10 days and they did not even offer to return my money. Instead, they gave my 3,000 back and they now have the truck up for sale again for 7,995. These guys do horrible business. I am already filing paperwork with the Ohio Attorney Generals Office. Again do not shop here. More
