Wilkins responded to an e-mail inquiry (Jim Mussman - IT mgr)concerning possible purchase of a new Buick LaCrosse. He set up an appointment with a sales rep to show me what they had.9(Robert Smith) I looked mgr)concerning possible purchase of a new Buick LaCrosse. He set up an appointment with a sales rep to show me what they had.9(Robert Smith) I looked at the cars they had on the lot and Robert selected a car for me to drive. Liked the feel of the LaCrosse and he and the sales mgr arranged for me to take the car home so that my wife(principal operator) could see and drive the new vehicle. She liked the operation of the new car but did not like the color of exterior and interior appointments, and prefered the midnight blue metalic exterior and the titanium interior. Called Robert and told him of my wife's preference and informed him I would be right back with the car on loan to us. He said he would see what he could find in the area that would satisfy her car desires. Upon return to the dealership, I found Robert had done his research and found that there were no cars in the 200 mi radius with colors specified, and further that there were none scheduled to be manufactured according to factory schedules available on computer search. I think this is a very serious marketing blunder on Buick's part to publish a very nice brochure listing available features and not having a manufacturing schedule to support offerings. In any event, Robert and John made every attempt to locate a vehicle even in model year 2011 which could satisfy my wife. In the meantime she looked at other vehicles and found one with the titanium interior desired and most all of the other features she wanted, and we subsequently settled on that car. All involved in the process were extremely helpful in ensuring that she was completely satisfied with the purchase. This is the third vehicle which we have purchased from the dealership and we look forward to talking with Maury and Jeremy Wilkins and the rest of the team when they have the "Grand Opening" for the new showroom renovations next month. Just a few issues: Was told the car would be cleaned and full of gas when I got it; notice upon driving home that gas was at 3/5, and the interior was not really clean - there was no trash, but it could have used a wipe down/dusting, also things like heavily smudged up ionterior chrome, etc. Hate feeling like "they made their sale, so they were done", regardless of what I was told beforehand when they still wanted my business. I got the car I wanted for the price I thought was reasonable. The service was excel lent and the whole process was timely. I would diffently recommend Wilkens dealershp and Greg in particular. I would not reccomend this dealership because they tell you that it is a certain problem with your car, and they ask your permission to fix the problem. Once you give them the ok to fix it they come back you that it is a certain problem with your car, and they ask your permission to fix the problem. Once you give them the ok to fix it they come back and tell you that wasnt the problem with the car and that it was something else. More
